Hi Guys
First post to a forum…..New to me Fuji X-T1 body and my old Canon FD 28mm lens from my film
days back in the 1970s.
Not much photography for many years but a snap here and there with Canon DSLR.
Liked what I read about the handling of the Fuji line of cameras, so thought I should try one!
Getting back to the basic use of a camera asa, aperture and shutter adjustable on top of camera and lens feels right and enjoyable.
Not knocking the new tech in modern cameras, but for me I feel I got caught up in all the tech and lost the simple process of using my old film camera…..
I am aware that new cameras can be as simple or complex as you want to make them.
Now, I have my ‘old camera’ and the advantages that digital files have brought with them!
Hope this makes some sense……I now feel more like getting out and taking more snaps.
Thanks for letting me ramble on and showing a photo from my first outing with this combo,
perhaps not the best shot but I am pleased and I like it!
All the best Steve
I like it, too. Welcome to the 'hog.
I got a kick out of seeing your reference to ASA. Kinda like hearing a Beatles song on the radio.
