docrob...Actually, I think it's great that a lot more people will be covered. My son will benefit. However, having health insurance is only the beginning of the solution. When my son had heart surgery two years ago there were thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses. I am merely wondering how these expenses will be covered. It's a question, nothing else, and nobody has had the answer.

Same way it's always been covered...you pay..Are you saying someone else should pay that too?

I must be missing something.

Great shot, ants can be difficult to capture especially when on the move. They look like Aphids being tended?

"Ants are often attracted to the sugary honeydew and occasionally tend the aphids much like people tend cattle: some ants even carry the aphids to new plant parts to establish more colonies."

They were doing this but I could never get the shot....

The original post was supposed to be somewhat humorous. However, understanding cops' sense of humor, I understand why you didn't get it.

Ok there's that reference to my avatar again...and since you are an expert on all cops sense of humor..(that was on the test to become one btw) I may have to change my pic to at least keep the cop haters from attacking me. I was told that some people think that by attacking cops online is almost as good as an attack in person... get a ticket lately? I may change it to an illegal alien from the UK living in Canada. Lol.

Hi all. I would like you all to know about the nikon coolpix series cameras and nikon's attitude toward fixing them. I bought a S6100 to take decent pics. I couldn't afford much more. There is a problem with the lens body and hardware. The camera just shuts down when it tries to focus. I only had the thing 3 months. So I send it back to Nikon and they agree that its still under warranty.
They have the camera since June 1, and of course they don't have the parts to fix it. They say they are sending it from Japan because they ran out of lens bodies for the coolpix. The customer service rep says they have this problem with the darn things.
I have called 3 times asking to get a replacement.No.
I have asked for a backup battery for my trouble. No.
I say the camera was only $130 so why don't they just send me a new one instead of waiting for so long. No.
Nikon doesn't care about any of that. Their customer service is lacking to say the least. Today is June 29 and my camera is still somewhere in limbo. This is ridiculous.
Next time I buy a Canon....

leonardb,

I have said this same thing in other posts but the "intrenched mental obstructionism" by both parties - being at fault - they like the way current members of Congress piss on our leg, so, why keep them in office for ever - because they need to envision it isn't raining outside. That is not a solution and I don't appreciate the do nothing Republicans making it even worse - compromise is and always has been the norm so if the Republicans don't want to compromise - vote them out of office. I will be trying to do just that.
I feel the dampness and the smell of ammonia on my leg when someone is pissing on one's leg. It's like they (Republicans) will not objectively see the forest for the trees. I't not in their ability to see clearly. Are Republicans looking through rose colored glasses? If so, they may be looking foolish doing so soon.
Term limits may not be the entire answer but I think it would be a good start for Congress.
It's going to be very interesting to see what the Republicans will say and do when they find they lost the Presidency and maybe some Senate and House seats along the way because they were obstructionists.
There are no angles in politics but I make a choice (an informed political decision) from what I read and follow here on the forum and elsewhere. I choose term limits for the Congress - just like the President has and vote for another four year term for Obama. God bless and may he guide our country to a better tomorrow.
