Welcome Rick, I'm just over in Indiana. There's lots of good stuff on UHH.

Oh how the years do change us! When I was 9 my black hair was down to within an inch or so of my eyebrows, but then when I was 19 it started to depart. Now I am bald straight back the middle and gray on the sides. I go to Great Clips and they say "What number are you?" I say "Number 6 and let'er rip." That does me for quite a while.

Those are sooo refreshing as I look out the window and see that the snow is still coming down.

Very interesting video, Jerry. Thanks for posting it.

I considered the A6000 for a long time, but it seems that if you don't want the "kit" lenses, most other lenses for E or FE mount are big, heavy, and much more expensive. So I finally went to Micro Four Thirds. There's plenty of lens choices there. If I had gotten the A6000 I would have bought the 19, 30 and 60 Sigma "Art" prime lenses.

Really enjoyed those Sylvia. Thanks for sharing with us.

I forgot to mention that it has the Sony grip on it. That helps handling a great deal.

Thanks h2odog, I appreciate your responses to my question, and the assurance about the 35-100.

Yes, it's much smaller, but I will get the Oly if the Pany will be a hassle to use.

This RX100 III has been used one year, about 350 photos. Excellent condition. Certified check for $300 in my hands, and I will ship to U.S. mainland UPS (their packaging), free to buyer. Sorry I don't have another camera to take a photo of it. PM me for my address details. Reason for selling: going to Micro 4/3rds.

That link makes it sound like you don't have turn off IS in the menu...that the camera will automatically defer to the lens. Hmmmm.
--Beagleman
Wow that was quick! Thanks Clint.

I've been considering getting the Panasonic 35-100 f/4-5.6 lens for an Olympus E-M10 Mark II camera, but I wonder about two factors:
1. I think (may be wrong) this lens has image stabilization, so that would have to be turned off or it would conflict with the in camera image stabilization. Right? If so how? I don't see a switch in pictures of it/
2. What about auto focusing? Does it have in lens AF? And will that conflict with the camera's AF?
I may be assuming problems here that don't exist, but it's better to understand all this BEFORE a purchase. I know the Micro 4/3rds people on this forum will be able to help.
Note---I may be in and out this week end but will acknowledge responses when I can get to a computer.
--Thanks!

Ah yes, Turkey Run! I spent many hours there in my younger days. Those fine shots brought back memories.

Erv, I have a Sony RX100 mark III that I plan to trade in on an Olympus (maybe Pen) soon. It is one year old and works great, but I need to be able to change lenses.
