So, Timmer, Jack47 "simply asserted his ignorance"... Asserted his ignorance? Say What?

(And, you also said) "For the practical photographer the issue of 'is the image sharp' is contradictory"... Contradictory? I don't think so.

Timmer, you take yourself too seriously. Only a sanctimonious prat would talk like that.

Yes, travelwp, let's try to bring some decorum back to this section of the forum. "Nice breasts" would be the way to express your pleasure with the photo.

Yes, but the word "Breast" is so bland and rather mundane isn't it John? What about using the word Teats? although, The Oxford American Dictionary refers to the word Teat specifically as "a nipple of the mammary gland of a female mammal, from which the milk is sucked by the young."

I, personally, might have said, "Nice Teats", referring to both the nipples and the mammary glands.

On another "word" subject, what about the word "Bum"? As it refers to someone's Backside.

How did it come to mean something other than a "Tramp", Hobo, or Ragamuffin, as the word is referenced in the depression era song, "Hallelujah, I'm a Bum"?

To Timmers:

Your comments demean Picasso as do your photographs.

As for Duchamp, his Urinal (Fountain) and Bicycle Wheel are far more preferable to contemplate than seeing two women playing "Stink Finger" with each other.

The first two are excellent--I like them a lot. The second two are ok, but the horizon line dips to the right; look at the water, it’s what needs to be level. Nice night shot, too.

Wrong about the 2nd two - Look again.

All nice.

I'm sorry but this is just not an incentive. I have more lenses for any of my cameras. My only reason for having an iPhone is for the use of an exposure/processing program. Since I carry a camera with me 95% of the time, the phone is not the first thing I think of when I want to take a photograph.

I'm curious to know what camera (brand & model) you carry with you 95% of the time. If it is small enough, I would prefer to have a camera like that too. Please lemme know. Thank you.

"Hell" is not in the original languages of the Bible. In the NT, "hell" uses a pagan concept to translate a Greek word that transliterates to Strong's G1067 [geena] and inferentially refers to Ge-Hinnom (the valley of Tophet -- Jer 7.32, 19.6 et alia). Ge-hinnom was a literal place in Israel where they, at one time, practiced idolatrous human sacrifice. That site later became Jerusalem's city dump where they burned sewage, garbage, offal, and other waste.

As Paul Harvey might have asked, "What's the "Rest of the Story?"

What ever happened to that? You don't have to invite friends and distant family back when they misbehave but what do you do with close relatives that totally act like morons, don't help with anything, let their kids run wild. We both believe we set a good example as our kids grew up but nothing seems to have taken. The whole weekend was tense and we had to walk on eggshells the whole week end. Any suggestions?

Everyone falls into the same category... Don't invite 'em back !

P.S. A thought to think about: "Just because we share a bit of genetic background doesn't mean I have to like you or put up with your Sh*t."

It just came to me, the two frumps are both visually and story wise illiterate. But, then I don't do this for the frump crowed, do I? Well, to all the others like El-LAY Shootist and LUKAN and you guys across the 'pond', happy week.

Got to roll out now, busy with the studio; the Air Aquarium is getting more face lift and I may just have Ms. VADA by, but, well; she is buying ANOTHER house, and getting ready to go with her sister to Mexico! Hey, she just got back from Europe, that is one traveling chick! Perhaps we will have a return from the sis, who knows!
