This is a Palm Warbler Adult- Winter Brown. There are 10s of Thousands of these birds that migrate to Florida every Winter. They head to Canada in the summer and start nesting. I have photographed hundreds of these birds.

Thanks very much for the I.D.

Thanks for all the reply's.

I googled all the suggestions, and I found a few photos of the Palm Warbler that resemble "my bird" the closest.

Bought a brand new D4 $5K for a trip to Italy. I was taking pictures in Ischia, had two camera around my neck, got the straps mixed up, let go the D4, and down it went ; landing on the viewfinder. I could not use it for the rest of the trip. $250 repairs when I got home.
I ALWAYS take a back-up. I think my other camera was a N90. It saved my ass. Shot 35 rolls.

One of these photos was taken at the Venice Rookery, and the other west of I95 near Titesville. I looked in Peterson's Field Guide under Warblers, but can't match him up.

I bought mine from a seller who bought the D500 kit, but did not want the lens. I paid $750. That's the way to go or try to buy it used. It is a good lens, but overpriced at $1000.

A nearby restaurant in New York State has two of these life sized statues of
the British Beefeaters guards. A similar one is on display at Heathrow Airport
but there is no information on line as to who made them or what use they
use they served. Any information would be appreciated.

As I heard the story.......the kings guards were fed well (beef) so they would remain loyal. The regular folk who were not as well off, gave them the name Beefeaters. My daughter at the Tower of London with a "Beefeater." Looks the part

"Maybe Nikon will take note and issue a firmware update that will enable that in live view. Seems to me that if they did that on some previous models, they could do it on current ones, like the D7200 and D500."

Good suggestion!

Just checked this out. The D7200 has a whole separate menu for movie settings, but unfortunately, it doesn't have a Manual Movie Settings feature. I also checked out the D750 suggestion, but the "i" menu settings display is different, it seems. Guess you just don't have the ability to "see" the changes to an image through the LV screen on the D7200. Looks like chimping and adjusting accordingly is the only way.

I checked it out too. To bad. Guess I'll have to get a D500.

Oh boy, google is our friend. Just googled it and got the answer. Go to the menu, then to the shooting menu (the camera icon), then to Movie settings, then to Manual movie settings, and select ON. Whatever you see in the live view (for both video and still pics) is what you get. As you change settings the screen lightens and darkens, just like the image. While auto focusing you get the full bright view, but once focused it goes back to the actual live view preview. This worked on my D7000 and I'm guesing will also work on your D7200.

My menu is different. Camera and Movie are separate icons. There is no Manual Movie setting.
I hope someone else knows the secret.
Thanks anyway. Glad You got yours working.
BTW What was the phrase you used to Google?

I thought there was a way to turn the Live View on for Photos, in Manual Mode, to see the tone difference on screen, while changing the aperture or shutter speed dial. When I try this, the screen darkens or lightens momentarily, but then returns to what the correct exposure would be if adjusted properly. After tripping the shutter, the picture then shows how I adjusted it; that is, too dark or too light. I must be doing something wrong. Also, pushing the Preview button should allow me to see the DOF preview on the Live View screen, but nothing happens when I push it; although, through the Viewfinder I can see the DOF preview as I should.

If you are interested in using a TC with the first edition of the Tamron 150-600, I'd call Tamron and ask them about it. Chances are they have tested the teleconverters on the market with the lens and can give you some information on it. I would guess though, that since they redesigned the lens and now offer teleconverters for it, they found that the first edition lens did not fair well with them. Could be the reason they went back and designed the new model. You could also ask Kenko since they make the best generic after market ones.

Good idea..I'll call them.
