I’ve always used a Tom-Tom. My current one was purchases in 2012. They have served me well. Recently I received an email saying I needed to update it. When I did so, I was informed that my unit was obsolete and would soon have some problems communicating with the satellites and this would also be my last update. They offered me a big discount on a new one. A week or so later we were traveling through Northern Nevada on I-80 when I received a call saying I needed to visit a guy down in Minden, which is south of Carson City. When I entered the address, I was told to turn south at Battle Mountain, travel 89 miles to highway 50 and then west to Minden. Well, this wasn’t going to happen since I needed to stop in Lovelock and talk to some people. Once I got past Battle Mountain, Tom-Tom wanted me to turn around and take the southern route at every exit for the next thirty five miles. It’s never behaved that way for that many miles. Then several days ago, I received an email saying I needed to download a software fix. Hopefully, the fix allows Tommy to recalculate the route like before.

Here's how screwed up the US Mail is. I'm currently living in Battle Mountain, Nevada; it's in the northern part of the state along I-80. If I want to mail a letter to someone in this town, that letter will be sent to Salt Lake City, three hundred and twelve miles away and then returned to Battle Mountain.
Here’s another one. Recently I did some drone photography for some people in Spring Creek, Nevada; it’s about seventy five miles from me. I mailed the photos out on a Thursday and the receipt said they would arrive on Saturday. They made a stop in Elko, Nevada and then on to Salt Lake City and then back to Elko and then out to Spring Creek which is about ten miles away. The photos arrived on Tuesday.
Here’s one more. I bought a used book on Amazon; it was mailed from Payson, Utah and send to Denver, Colorado (482 road miles in the other direction) and then on to me (832 road miles). The book was in transit for seven days.
But then there’s this one. I won an auction on Ebay and the item was shipped priority mail from Maine and it arrived in three days
I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 with my DJI Phantom three. It has a brightness setting to cope with the sunlight, but the screen is still highly reflective and problematic in bright sunshine. I decided to custom build a six inch deep hood for it, but that didn’t resolve the problem so I built a deeper one that still didn’t help. My newest creation is more of a tapered snoot. It’s sixteen inches long, enclosed on all sides, with an opening on the bottom near the screen that allows for camera adjustments. My end is covered with a thin piece of black foam that has a single one inch round hole. This hood works great with the reflection gone when my eye is pressed against the foam. Now I need to build a more durable hood out of high density quarter inch foam.
You can't rely on the internet when it comes to hawk identification. The bottom photo is a falcon, note the under eye markings and the long slender wings. The Cooper's has short broad wings.
I think it's a Cooper's hawk or it's little brother the Sharp-shinned Hawk. The Cooper's has a rounded tail, whereas the Sharp-shinned is smaller and has a squared off tail.
Have a look at Precision Colors Ink, they get good reviews. You can try their inks for thirty five dollars. They also have icc profiles for a lot of papers. Something not offered by most third party ink sellers.
