Nice shot, I love waterfalls. Did you get to Watkins Glen State Park?

We had a great experience on a sunrise photo tour with Navajo Spirit Tours. We had to cancel the afternoon before due to illness and they rescheduled us with only two days left on our vacation stay. Picked us up at our hotel for an experience we won't forget. Very friendly, engaging conversationlist and offered photo assistance and location tips. Enjoy your trip.

Beautiful, just beautiful. The "sunburst" does it.

I'm an 82 year old retired sailor and I'll be going in September. Every retired military man deserves this and every 18 year old should be required to serve in some form or another, military or peaceful, IMHO.

That makes at least 2 of us. Haze Grey and Underway!

Good Morning-
I will be visiting Monument Valley in a few weeks. I am wondering if it is worthwhile to sign up for a photo guided experience and if so does anyone have any recommendations for same? Any hints that anyone would care to share to get a good image? We will be traveling in our RV traveling entering from Highway 191. Thanks.

John Ford Point for sure. If you've ever seen a John Wayne western, That's John Ford point.

MY Dad is 91, He served during the Korean War. Please make this happen for every vet in your area !!!! He LOVED It and said he would go again :)

I'm involved with a group called "Hudson Valley Honor Flights" (I live in the lower Hudson Valley) and we do that. I'm honored to be a part of it. Most of us are veterans, and when those vets thank ME for my service, I am humbled.

What the h*** does this have to do with photography? Post it on your Facebook page, where your "friends" might give a damn.

Try reading what comes after then after the title Chit-Chat, assuming that you can read!

Good morning - I am taking a leisurely trip through several of the western parks in late-summer (Glacier, Yellowstone, etc and then the southern Utah parks and Grand Canyon). I have a Nikon P900 and a D7000. I have a variety of lenses for the D7000 but no one really good wide-angle lens. At the other end, I’ve had GAS to get a Nikon 200-500 Lens or a Sigma 150-600. I am trying to decide if I should just take the P900 which will be easy to wag around, or take the D7000 and appropriate lenses. We won’t do a ton of hiking and my skill level is far from you who post in this forum. But I would appreciate any thoughts and recommendations. I don’t want to be so busy trying to get the perfect shot that I fail to enjoy the scenery! Thanks in advance. Vera

If you take the D7000 you will need a wide angle lens as well. you might consider an 18-400 super zoom. IMHO that should solve all your problems. I've been to a lot ofn the parks out west, you'll love it. Get to Monument Valley if you can.
