A classic shot very well handled from the foreground completed by a sultry sky.
Where did you take this one, up by Belle Tout looking West?
And do you know if the steps down to the GAP are serviceable yet?

Thanks John, Your spot on, it was halfway down the hill from the Belle Tout, and yes, after demolishing the end cottage, which was about to go over the edge, they have rebuilt the steps closed to the current cliff face.

I went to Birling Gap about 45 years ago and there was about 100 foot to the nearest cottage from the cliff edge....... The cliff is receding fast.
What a gorgeous piece of scenery that is. Well done.
Nice shot
It reminds me of the cliffs in Rhode Island, USA. Beautiful mansions there on the water front. The buildings are pushed back some 200 yards from the huge drop offs. I do wonder about the water in this picture, namely the lack of blue in the water? It just feels flat for some reason. I'm looking for sun glare but the sun isn't behind the water. If it wasn't like that in the original you could create layers with the original as base and this on top, just mask out the water (using a brush tool) in the top layer to show the original water and color perspective is back.
Awesome landscape. Great depth.
It's a very peaceful and comfortable view of this dramatic spectacle of geology.
quite captivating.
