Went to Ponce Inlet today. Loved it, I’ll be back. Thx for the tip

make sure you hop on over to Ponce Inlet to get photogs of the lighthouse. I lived in NSB for 2 years and it's one of my favorite places.

Hi, I am now in NSB and enjoying being warm. I have begun to use your list. Spruce Creek Park is wonderful but it closes at 5 each day. Is there a way to get in for sunsets
? Thx.

I use a Rothco Outback Trailblazer that is a jacket that has sleeves that zip off to make a vest. In cool mornings I have the sleeves on and when it warms up I take them off and put them in the back pocket of the vest.

I use a "hand-me-down" fishing vest. It works and that's all that matters.

thanks for your thoughtful reply.

I think that is not a reasonable requirement for a travel tripod. That is why I use right angle viewers and flip LCD screens. My travel tripods need to fit inside my backpack (<14 inches)

For truly portable use, I use a Sirui T-1205x. Or I use a Promaster carbon leg set with an Acratech ballhead that I store separately in the bag.

[Good point-thanks.
quote=PixelStan77]IMHO a travel tripod that extends to 6 feet must have at least 4 to 5 legs and who fully extended will be like a tuning fork.[/quote]

Hi all, thinking I need a travel tripod that is smaller than my RRS big guy. Needs to extend to my 6 foot height and hold my Sony 7 R III with a long lens without vibrating like a tuning fork. Want to be able to put it in my carry on bag too. What is your favorite travel tripod? Thanks!

A friend of mine wants to buy her husband a photo vest or jacket and asked my advice. I used to use a photo vest back in the film days when i was using film and needed a place to keep all those film canisters. Am curious about whether any fellow "hogs" use photo vests and what brands they would endorse. Many thanks.

I have a four year old Canon printer the Pixma Pro 10. It's a great printer but it had been idle for months and when I fired it up yesterday it had issues. I couldn't find ICC profiles and the printing colors were all wrong. I called Canon and a woman named Laurie was awesome. She was patient, very knowledgeable, and she guided me through downloading the most recent drivers. I had to uninstall and re-install my Pro 10 on my mac. Later that day I had to call Canon back and Tony was my contact. He was very helpful also.

Lots of posts have legitimate complaints, I wanted to shout out for Canon as being extremely helpful-my printer is now humming like it did when I first bought it. Nice to deal with a company with awesome customer service.

Thanks everyone! I copied the Nik Collection and pasted it into the plugins folder on CC 2019. It worked!

Another option is to locate the NIK setup file in your downloads folder and reinstall. I store all my downloads on one of my internal data drives.

Just installed CC 2019. For the moment I cannot install my Nik collection which I use frequently. Has anyone discovered how to install Nik? Many thanks!
