I read the link on Brazil cancelling Mardi Gras. Best of all, including New Orleans. A friend of mine went to Rio 2 years ago and loved it. Crime has increased there. And political and economical problems. I read an article about the contaminated water that will be present during the Olympics. And Malaria on the rise. Hope the athletes avoid diseases. The Olympics should be a photographer's dreamland.
Wow! What an intense educational writing about wedding photography. No thank you for me on this job. Especially being the amateur that I am. I have shown up for weddings with a compact camera and took photos. I gave the SD card to the couple along with my gift to them. They can survey the prints and choose what they want. I am not a professional photographer. Now, I see why wedding photographers get paid handsomely.
First Nikon prototype 1987 with Panasonic involved. No big fanfare then. Now look where we are 29 years later. I was still shooting my Minolta SRT 101 that year. What about the technology in mirrorless cameras that are gradually sneaking into the market. There are those who say they aren't any good. just as what was thought when this first digital Nikon prototype was released.
My friend bought the WU-1A Wi-Fi adapter for his Nikon D3300 and was not satisfied with the results. He now uses his smartphone for Wi-Fi. Maybe he was doing something wrong. I have built in Wi-Fi on just one camera I own. The Nikon L840. I never use it .
The Nikon D3300 is selling faster than ever. 24 megapixels for a bargain DSLR. Kit comes with 2 lenses. Great shot of the moon.
Since being a member of hedgehog, I can truly say I have grown in my knowledge in photography. some topics are way over my head as an amateur. But that's the way it is sometimes.
All you have to do is go to Nikon USA Webb site. Firmware updates and see the countless fiirmwares on most of their cameras to correct problems.
