Nice photos and clever colour contrast with those blurred backgrounds - really make them special.

Sure hope he's still dating,...or married to Brenda,...or at least another Brenda.

If not,....I wonder if the break up was as painful as his expression of eternal love? (self mutilation)

Don't have any tattoos myself,....how much pain is endured? and/or liquor that must be consumed to survive this much dedicated fondness?

Then again,....maybe his parents just named him Brenda,.....happens !

Hat off to Mooseeyes - he's the one offering some help that will get you some shots - why do people get so knowingly uptight on this site - how ever clever you are, it doesn't hurt to help get a guy going. Good Luck, and post some shots when you get them.

I'm fairly new here Mike so, having seen these tree shots, I looked for your other postings (which I don't find as easy on UH as PictureSocial) and am absolutely stunned by the quality of your shots and processing. I'm a double-hearing aid youngster of 68, so there's still time to learn! Would you tell us all a little of your history in photography - were/are you a professional? Is it all natural to you or did it only come after hard graft? Love to know more. Congratulations on so much amazing work.

As I wrote yesterday I have a soft spot for trees. Since I had nice responses on that subject yesterday, thank you all, I will post some more trees. Maybe if I am lucky it might even appear on the opening page, have not much luck that way.

You've just convinced me to buy my wife an SX50 - lovely photograph, congratulations.
Tarzan wrote:
As far as I know, many shops allow a try-time for customers decide keeping or not the camera. In your case I should try the SX50 for a week or so. This picture was taken with a SX50, maximum zoom, 1/160 sec, f 6.5, handheld. Photographer (senior) standing on uneven ground.

I was talking about todays challenge with Sunny and i told her i don't have any photos of stairs and I am not even sure where i can get any because all the buildings nearby are one story... she suggested adding ladders to the subjects and I like that idea. Nevertheless, I am still starting the day without photos.... I will have some tomorrow, please excuse me for now.... and have fun, don't forget red as a wildcard. Oh I have some red - lol.
