Sounds more like you need a pelican case.

Yes...a 4 wheeler and a few hard case's should work out great...and maybe a small pull behind trailer...tents...light stands...just in case.

I'm curious what all of that weighs.

Ernst, that's a lot of glass. I have a Lowpro CompuTrekker. It will hold all you ask along with your laptop. Mine is years old. Look on their website and see if they make a current Compu model. Since it gets heavy I use mine mostly for transporting my gear and take a smaller one along to use at my destination. Put ALL your gear in a big box and weigh it. You don't need a burro but it does get heavy fast. If you do any backpacking or are in good shape, it will be no big deal. I'm sure all the companies make an equivalent pack. If they no longer make it look for a used one on KEH or eBay. Check it out.

I don't have answers but am having the same questions. I have looked at the Lowepro and tamrac, but yesterday I was looking at a Kata 3n1-33 and its looking pretty good. It also has an attachment for a tripod or monopod in your case

Canon had all camera and lens cases at 50% off last week. Don't know if it's still on but they had all sorts inc. wheeled and multi lens carriers and backpack. Worth checking at CanonUSA.com
