As someone who receives Wine Club shipments from California Vintners all the time, the Delivery Service used in not usually one of the main line carriers. The delivery is usually made by a private courier that is supposed to know how to handle wine. I've spent countless time on the phone with a dispatch center arranging to have the driver turn around and deliver.

I'd call the winery if I were you.

Enjoy the wine. What did you get?

We do a lot of business with J Winery. Will have to give them a call and see if they suffered any damage.

Not sure what you're getting at ... FedEx alone employs around 400,000. As I understand the typical role of a package delivery service, none of those 400,000 employees is involved in: opening packages, visually inspecting the contents, testing the contents on applicable equipment, completing assessment documentation, contacting the sellers with assessments, issuing payments or returning the equipment (a whole nother set of steps ...), releasing the accepted equipment into the for-sale inventory, etc etc ... As mentioned by another post, these very same employees may actually be out on the road gathering equipment rather than at the home office receiving packages.

But, maybe you know something else about the matter?

Don't quite understand what you are trying to say. Do all observations have this effect on you??

Great scene and she is definitely heeding his advice.

For me, I don't get the impression they are together.

This is for those who do not live in cotton country or have never seen a cotton field. I love this time of year. The first photo is a picture of some of my siblings in my childhood when cotton was picked by hand. My how times has changed. The other photos I took today showing the new equipment. It picks the cotton from the stalk and when enough is in the machine it forms it into a roll, wraps it in plastic and dumps it out and later a machine will gather the big rolls and haul it to the cotton gins. I love watching it.

Very interesting. I guess cotton is now back on the accepted list.

I believe this is applicable.

For the last 50 + years I have always drunk black coffee. I like the taste of coffee. Those people who order all the stuff with their drink have no idea what coffee tastes like or they don't like the taste of coffee.

Very nice. The color of the breaking waves looks a lot like the Carribean.

You've said it exactly: I know they must received hundreds of items weekly, if not daily. Sometimes, it can take a while ...

I think there may be a bigger problem. A company like FedX and UPS handle hundreds of thousands of packages a day.
