Not sure what you're getting at ... FedEx alone employs around 400,000. As I understand the typical role of a package delivery service, none of those 400,000 employees is involved in: opening packages, visually inspecting the contents, testing the contents on applicable equipment, completing assessment documentation, contacting the sellers with assessments, issuing payments or returning the equipment (a whole nother set of steps ...), releasing the accepted equipment into the for-sale inventory, etc etc ... As mentioned by another post, these very same employees may actually be out on the road gathering equipment rather than at the home office receiving packages.

But, maybe you know something else about the matter?

This is for those who do not live in cotton country or have never seen a cotton field. I love this time of year. The first photo is a picture of some of my siblings in my childhood when cotton was picked by hand. My how times has changed. The other photos I took today showing the new equipment. It picks the cotton from the stalk and when enough is in the machine it forms it into a roll, wraps it in plastic and dumps it out and later a machine will gather the big rolls and haul it to the cotton gins. I love watching it.
