This was always going to be an "Ain't it awful! Those animals!" thread.

No one ever said that. For those who would, they have plenty to comment on.

Read Matthew 25:31-46. This passage, Jesus' final parable, describes what a real Christian is, one who helps the poor, the stranger, the imprisoned, and so forth. Pictures of examples of these would be most Christian. Wonder how this may relate to the new tax bill that probably will lead to cutting Medicaid, Medicare, and a whole group of programs that help the less fortunate.

Do you know for sure that Medicare and Medicaid will be cut? If so when??

Why, why, why! Why do you have to bring politics into almost every controversial topic. Is there no place to escape this?

Perhaps you should have a better definition of "politics" You can escape if that suits your sensibilities just move on.

I don't know about the availability but I am surprised that you want to sell the D500 for the D850. The D500 is quite new.

But not new....new.

Pricing in S Florida and Keys appears to be $400-$500 per hour. Does this seem high to you?

I’m not trying to denigrate anyone’s skill or experience or right to charge “what the market will bear.” Just caught me by surprise.

My daughter was married in October. That price is more than reasonable.

I sent this to a friend who has a newer version of that car, and the intake has been redesigned.

Two ways to take the new design. It should have been different from the beginning or the need to better understand their client base.

Malls are only as good as the management. Banning mall creepers is a priority in some Georgia suburbs and good on them! Nothing to stop Roy Moore from becoming a mall cop in another state or even a preacher now that he has more free time.

How does this moron relate to what those people participated in? He received his just reward. What will theirs be?? How are going to ban that kind of people?

And being in my second childhood my toys are damned expensive!!!!!

For sure. I retire on Friday. I was going to wait until the end of the month but decided all my work is done. The "picks" are in. I took my investment team to a long lunch yesterday and gave them the rest of the week off. I rewarded my self with a new car. My toy is an Audi A8. I really wanted the Audi R8 but an old 74-year-old guy getting in and out was a sight to see.

I'M thanking Abobe for saving me money. I don't need a D850 but kinda wanted one, if I can't work NEF files with Adobe I'LL just suffer without the D850. For now lol

I don't think there is a legitimate need for the D850. There is, however, a want. It all goes back to the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.

And folks ask why malls are seeing a drop in business!! I would rather shop where I can see a product before I buy it, but with this kind of behavior seen all too often, I'll stick with ebay and Amazon and wait the 2 days for the item to arrive.
Mall cops are a waste of time and $. I'd rather see the malls hire off-duty police so that shoppers can have real protection when they are shopping with family and friends.

Forget the fact that they have the mentality of a gnat. The thing that struck me was the total disregard for the child.

That's a very strange point of view. It would benefit anyone who is a rich real estate investor.
Such as; oh I don't know, let's say the Trump and Kusner families?

Also, rich Democrats who are real estate investors.

Yes, unfortunately. I'll keep my 2014 version. On Amazon, it's $90 for twenty-seven months. I paid $60, and I've used it for over four years and will continue to use it. It does all I want, so there are no features that would attract me to sign up for constant updates. Imagine how much you could be paying every year for software, radio, and TV if you went ahead with subscription plans. It would be thousands of dollars vs nothing at all.

As you said, Adobe has shown businesses how much money they can get from us by charging us continually rather than just once. If they were considerate of their customers, they would offer both subscription and standalone, but their concern is making money, not serving the public. It's a shame.
Yes, unfortunately. I'll keep my 2014 version. O... (show quote)

If you feel that Adobe is charging you too much. Do not subscribe. The choice is yours. They offer you a product for a fee. They are servicing the demands of the photography industry. Their customers who demand the latest options so they can enhance their work. The shame would be if they charged you the same year in and year out and did not improve their product.
I wonder what Adobe payroll looks like?? How many people at the various level of product development. Advertising. Social Security and Medicare contributions for employees.
