Bit weird to have a stand out image that youve decided never to show anybody?
I dont get it.....
Ive used it on the rx10m4 for birds and street photography when the subject is in the distance with good results
Sorry...but I think youre over thinking this
I bought a Sony rx10m4 and GAS is now a thing of the past
Ive tried using panorama on the sony rx100m3 and the rx10m4 with no success at all.....it tells me im not moving the camera correctly. My huawei p30 pro phone does it brilliantly ever single time
One thing that is often overlooked on the rx10m4 is the clear image zoom function.
Basically if you choose to shoot jpeg you can extend the zoom digitally from a max of 600mm to 1200mm without a significant loss of image quality....there are plenty of examples on the web
I got rid of my nikon gear......d810 and various lenses a couple of years ago and never looked back.
Best decision I made.......super image quality and 24-600 mm without the need to lug a couple of bricks around...good luck
Lots of people will say the 28-300 is a bad lens.
Ive had 2....one on a d750 which I never liked and one on the d810 which I liked a lot.
It depends on whether you get a decent copy or not.
My rule #1 is if it aint broke, dont fix it.
I speak from previous experience.
If your mac works to your satisfaction.....never upgrade is my advice...Ive come to that conclusion through personal experience
At the risk of starting up a completely new thread....I really dont get this obsession of having perfect photos straight out of the camera. To me a lot of the fun of photography comes from the editing afterwords. I use a camera primarily for getting the shot.If it needs a bit more contrast or a bit less exposure then that passes on a few hours after the shoot.Unless youre a pro working to deadlines, does anybody really have such limited amounts of time available?
Theres an online course that trains people to do this.
Unfortunately they only admit bright pupils.
Well done....wish Id been there
Ive been in your position and decided to get rid of all my nikon gear and buy a rx10m4.
Ive never regretted it and unless your doing studio work or blowing up enormous prints I dont think you would regret it either.
Forgot to say the easiest way to transfer video is to create a new folder on the mac and simply drag them from the sd card into the new folder, you can then drag them all into imovie if you want to stitch them together.
