Such a peaceful place
Tubac Mission
It is at its best on Christmas Eve, decorated with luminarias inside and out. Crowds of people come to see it and take pictures. There are locals playing instruments and singing carols and at the end of the walk through the church and grounds, cookies and hot Mexican chocolate. A treat if the night is cold.
Awesome. Yep I see the bear!
This coming October I will be doing a three week driving tour of the Western US.
Passing through Missouri, check out Merrimack Caverns, interesting if you are into caverns. Palo Duro Canyon in Texas is another beautiful place to visit. Enjoy your trip.
This cloud came over the horizon while I was kayaking. It looked like smoke from a fire but it was a huge cloud in an otherwise mostly clear sky.
Awesome capture.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. You have a wonderful garden. Miss that living in the desert.
The last one, a more mythical view, stirs memories of childhood on the farm and getting in those last hours of sunlight to finish plowing.
Thanks for the memories. We drove the same route you took. Camped in Cloudscroft, back in '66. It was cold as I remember, the water in the dog's bowl froze during the night. Things still look the same, but I'm sure the towns have grown. Artesia was just a spot on the map back then. Great pictures.
Punny comments, made me chuckle. Great captures.
The animals were mostly either sleeping or eating, so I ended up shooting a lot of flowers. Since I hardly know a rose from a dandelion, any help on ID would be appreciated. And comments are always welcome.
Lots of these bushes. No clue what they are
The last flowers in the series are Desert Willow flowers.
Thank you. I'll watch those pixies, mischievous little critters, but as you say, better than imps.
Love our Canadian neighbors. Good people.
I am wondering if anyone here has InPixio, I have a trial of the cut out part of the program and like it, but is it worth buying the whole software package? Is it easier to use than Photo Shop CC6?
Thank you in advance.
