National Honor Roll? Heck get her a great camera. Get her a Pentax! They have a new K70 coming out.
Good call Ken, great camera, exactly what my niece of the same age uses and makes some great photos!
Wanted to test my new D7200 and sigma 150-500mm lens.
Looks a bit crowded up there.
For me the effects were more wide angle than even a 50mm close up of one color.
There was a light show at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens for the last several months. We finally went up to see it on Saturday the last night it was there. The artist is Munro and the exhibits were very interesting and very well done. The entire hillside in this photo was done with these fiberoptic displays...each color group changed colors so every few minutes as one walked up the hill the desert changed color.
We had a late afternoon rain in the desert near Tucson. With the desert already in bloom the scene was very pretty!
Very Nice, Superb Composition!
My best suggestion for anyone driving to Alaska is to pick up a copy of MilePost. This magazine type guide is a must. It gives you multiple choices of routes and describes each road mile by mile. I am not exaggerating at all: it will tell you where to see animals, rest stops, and wether or not the rest area has recycle bins. Been to Alaska multiple times and get a new MilePost every time I head that way. You can usually find them at Barnes and Noble Book Stores.
I had been receiving e-mails and posting on the hog for 2 years (September of 2013) and all of a sudden I could no longer sign in. Was told I was not registered when I sent messages to the administrator. So, since I enjoy the forum so much I started over. Happy to be back in the flock.
