I suspect responses will highly depend upon each individual’s personal shooting style. I, for example, am a “work-the-scene” shooter who always leaves some “free-board” all around to provide for creative cropping options that never never seem quite as obvious as I’d like when shooting! Many shots don’t get “worked”! A few get lotsa work!
