First of all I have lost count of how much money I have happily spent at BnH. Every single experience I have had at BnH has been positive. Absolutely no complaints from me what so ever. So what's going on now?

I opened a Payboo account. With this account you can buy what you want, and depending on how much you spend you get so many months of interest free payments.

I bought $6200.00 worth of new gear expecting several months to pay it off so I wouldn't by paying any interest.

I received my first invoice today from Payboo and they charged me $134.00 in interest.

I am not done with BnH by any means. Since i don't have $6,000 sitting around to pay this off tomorow I guess I have no other option except to withdraw money from my pension account to pay off this balance and say good bye to Payboo.

So what's up BnH?

By the way did they charge you the sales tax?

Fortunately, I don't need the best tools that are available. I have mainly DeWalt and some Ryobi, and they're fine. I don't want to keep a supply of half a dozen brands of batteries. Manufacturers think they're being smart by having their own battery shapes, but I think standardizing would be smarter. Imagine if there were all different shapes of AA and AAA batteries. I have an adapter that lets me use one brand of battery on a different tool.

For the case of disposable batteries like AA and AAA the batteries are made and sold by batttery manufacturers and they have nothing to do with the the devices that use them and thus standardize is bether for them as they can sell more batteries.
For the tools especially these tools are relatively cheap compared to the price of the batteries. So they Milwaukee wouldn't want you to buy Dewalt batteries to run their tools. Just like Canon wouldn't want you to use Epson ink. It's the batteries that they make money. And as far as the tools I see mostly the damage was the rubber cover came off under heavy use with greasy/oily hands but otherwise the tool last a long time. Not so with the batteries.

It wouldn't harm nothing for trying. By the way which phone company are you using?

Well is relative...

For many photographers, simply knowing that one camera is better than another is 4/5ths the battle.
Most viewers really don't care with what camera an image was taken. Unless they are equipment worshipers or pixel peepers. And, unless they have something with which to compare, the viewer would have no idea if another camera would be "better". (Then there is post processing abilities...)
It's all in the mind of the photographer.
What is necessary to make him feel good about his work.

Somehow I always know which camera is better for me. It's easy.

If I remove the sim card from my current Samsung phone and put it into another Samsung phone, will I be able to use the second one as a phone, just like the original Samsung?

I think so!

I have read this in several places on the internet, so they have to be true!!! :)

TEMU prices are very low so you will buy from them and they sell your information to make up for their profit.
Anyone know of this?

I heard Temu is collecting users data but didn't hear about selling them yet.

I think you would have to contact them and see what happens. As I understand it, if you buy more than $599 you have 12 months to pay it off without interest.

The camera is light so it won't harm the mount. Support the lens.

A friend is about 72, and I don't think she's ever had a printer. She uses the library or Staples for any printing. Although she has a laptop, she uses her phone almost exclusively. She asked me for advice about buying a printer.

Jerry, be careful here.Unless color printing is necessary, I’d suggest a Laser Printer for occasional use. Lots here recommend the economical Brother Laser printer. Get the least expensive one.
If she gets a color cartridge printer and prints only sometimes, expect lots of on-site printing calls from her to fix (cartridges) what you recommended. I speak from 14 years of owning a Computer Service Center! Hardly any callback from Brother Lasers I recommended!

I have one in my basement tool cabinet. It's a Skil drywall screw driver. I've had it for about 45 years. I used it to drywall my kitchen when I remodeled it. I also used it several times for driving deck screws, but then reliable cordless drivers came along, and it now sits in retirement.

I also have a Craftsman (relabeled Skil) 3-way reversible drill in AC. It has regular 1/2" Jacob's chuck, a twist of the collar changes it to an impact drill (great for masonry), and a second twist converts it to a power chisel. Nothing like AC power when you really need power.

As far as drill I still have my Milwaukee Holeshooter bought back in the early 80's.
