I received my new Galaxy S10 yesterday. My neighbor brought it over after FedEx delivered it to him. Using the watch, I was able to install the Samsung "Wearable" app, and I got the Galaxy Fit 3 watch set up. I was also able to install the two apps to get the Insta360 and DJI Pocket 2 cameras connected to the phone. Actually, it isn't a pone at this point, just a smart device. The charging cable for the watch has a USB C plug at the end that connects to the charger. I'll have to buy a couple of chargers like that. Otherwise, I have to charge the watch using the phone. Maybe there isa C-to-A adapter.
The watch has USB-C? Yes there are USB A - C cables as well as adapter.

The magnetic end attaches to the watch, and the C end connects to a charger.

Not only are there C-to-A adapters, there are A-to-C adapters. You need both. So you can charge your C devices with your A chargers and vice versa. They're easy to keep track of because you can stack them.

I ordered a pair of C/A chargers.
Nice. I have a bunch of Mini/Micro adapters. I'll receive the two C chargers tomorrow, so I should be opkay. What's funny is when I go away this weekend, I have to make sure I have so many different chargers and cables.
Now that since you didn't want a phone. I wonder if an Android tablet would work instead? When I returned my Iphone 12 to the company I worked for I didn't have a smartphone for quite a while. I bought a Lenovo P11 which is an 11" Android tablet. It worked for all the things I needed the phone for and with a larger screen it's better than the phone. For calling I had the tough flip phone form Kyocera which is very reliable and I liked it. The only thing I missed and I ended up buying a smartphone was the GPS.
