This abandoned, one-room cabin stands by itself out in the woods south of Dadeville, AL.
The door was slightly ajar and I could see a rickety chair sitting in front of the fireplace.
Did I go in? No, it was too creepy. :-(

I'd passed this house on the county road many times as it got more and more dilapidated. Finally took a shot.
I discovered that the house was abandoned following the son killing his entire family!
Now I understand why it never sold.

This classic two-story house was abandoned a number of years ago. It sits across from the county court.
I was owned by a wealthy family that simply died out.
