These are stunning!

The Lensbaby Sweet 50 was delivered yesterday afternoon and I have been learning how to use it. I can see I am going to need lots of practice. I have been shooting in manual mode for a long time but I have to confess that I rarely manually focus my lens. I feel like I need a few more hands. I practiced using a vase of roses that my husband bought me in Pennsylvania a few years ago. They are made of thin pieces of wood shaped like the pedals of roses. You definitely need to begin with a subject that will not move. Of the many practice shots I took today this one turned out the best. I think I used a closeup lens in this one.

These are beautiful. I put in an order this week for the composer pro and the sweet 50. I have considering it for a long time. I'm looking forward to its arrival and having a chance to use it.
