Really people?????? The Nikon next to the card is not a miniature camera. That package is huge? Just read the statement, let it soak fully into your brain before commenting.
I bet you are glad to posed this question.
Microsoft already does monthly subs with Office, Adobe does, Norton will soon. Time to get in the game, it will be your only option in a few years.
I set up my camera on a tripod, and use wireless trigger. Birds don't get spooked by it, but make sure you set the shutter to quiet setting,
For your type shooting, you can get away with 32GB cards. I use 128GB CF for my raw, and 64GB SD for jpeg.
This is where Greentoe.com becomes your friend Great company, name your price and stick to it.
You have options for roller cleaning.
As long as you are going to Fry's, get more ram also, 8 gigs is not enough now days. May want to look at the 900 series of video cars as well.
Ihave been doing what you are thinking of doing. I started with a 7D, Sold it and got a 6D. Hated it for my equine and wildlife shooting. Sold it for the 7Dii and purchased a 5Diii. I'm now covered. I put the 100-400ii on the 7Dii and my 70-200 on my 5Diii. Purched the 6D, 7Dii, and 5Diii all on Greentoe.com. I can't publish what I paid for them, but the 5D was less than what people are selling used for
You nailed it when you said ransomware. Format and download Win10 to flash drive on another computer.

Question for you people who can not move up from 8/16 GB cards.Just what do you shoot? These cards are too small for shooting raw for me. I'm now moving up to 128 GB cards and have never had a problem with any cards. I have some 128 MB cards for sale if you want. Oh, BTW, my 500 GB SSD hard drives work just fine also.
I enjoyed the 70-300 until I moved on.
The kids are playing on public place, no worries on permission.
