She is not dead, she is alive and well. See the article below.

There is too much misinformation. Please check your facts before posting.

I got an email offering a home test for covid, results instantly. It was a blood test. Put a drop in the tester and it would tell you if you've got it or not.
The email was from China.

I recently heard of a new, free home COVID test. Simply pass gas. If your significant other complains then, obviously, she/he still has their sense of smell and do not have COVID.

This test can be used in any number of social settings and may indeed help to encourage social distancing.

Sitting here in Gulfport. Maybe it’s finally our turn this year. But after Camille in 69’ and Katrina in 05’, somehow this seems lightweight. But, it never is... watching and waiting. Thanks for your concerns.. 2020 has turned out ....

This one is not lightweight. I am many miles away in Houston but hearing reports from family in Gulfport. My brother-in-law reports a pecan tree down in his yard.

Do not set your clocks back this weekend, we do not need one more hour of 2020.

An oldie but a goodie.

Our protagonist, a mild-mannered businessman Don, who was in San Francisco on a business trip. Finding himself free for the afternoon he decided to explore and soon found himself in a quaint old antique shop near Fisherman’s Wharf. Roaming the aisles, he found a magnificent, life-sized golden statue of a rat. Being taken by it’s beauty, he took it to the front of the store.

Seeing the statue, the proprietor smiled and said Oh, I see you have found the rat. How much asked Don. The proprietor answered $10 for the statue and $100 for the story. Don did not question but handed the proprietor $10 and left the store with the rat in a paper bag.

Wandering down the wharf district he soon heard a scuffling sound coming from an alley. He looked but did not see anything. Soon, hearing more sounds he looked as saw a couple of rats following him but thought little of it. Before long there were more rats and they were getting closer. Don was starting to get concerned and walked faster. Then there were hundreds of rats and they were chasing Don. Don ran and soon was out on a wharf. Thousands of rats were charging at Don. He ran to the end of the wharf and in despair threw the golden rat out into the bay. The rats charged past Don and jumped into the bay after the statue.

Our next scene finds Don back in the store. The proprietor smiles and asks Don if he would like to buy the story. Don declines and asks the proprietor if he happens to have a golden democrat.

According to Snopes.com, this article was not written by Dr. Fauci. Rather, it was written by Amy Wright, of Asheville, North Carolina. See the Snopes article here https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/fauci-chickenpox-covid-19/

The article appears to have a lot of good and valid information. It is regrettable that it has been falsely attributed to Dr. Fauci.

I hate to hear you giving up on the hobby and hope you can find a way to continue. I am in a lull, not many contacts for the last year or more, and waiting for the sunspots to pick up.

For me, the banner at the top of the page is a car ad. Of course, I have recently looked at cars online.

I think the banner is aware of your recent online activity and inserts something accordingly.

I've been complaining about Amazon's one to two-week delivery of whatever I order. Yesterday, I ordered a bathroom rug that was on sale. I'm receiving it today! Maybe Amazon has gotten its act together, and my orders will arrive faster. Thanks you, Amazon!

Rules for delivery people everywhere (Amazon, UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc)

1. If you want it bad, you get it (delivery) bad.
2. If you want it real bad, you get it real bad.
3. If you want it worse, you get it worse.

Part 2, how to make it bad:

1. Miss the promised delivery date.
2. Post on-line that it was delivered when it wasn't. But deliver it the next day and deny there was a problem.
3. Turn around in your driveway, causing unfulfilled expectations.
4. Post a picture on-line showing it was delivered, but to the wrong house.
5. Post routing on-line showing the package rerouted to distant locations.
6. Stop posting routing, show nothing.

I don't know what separates weeds from "real" flowers, but this is beautiful!!

A weed is an undesired plant. If someone loves it then it is not a weed. Even the most beautiful of plants can be a weed if growing in the wrong place. And the most forlorn can be beautiful in the eye of the beholder, in this case the artistic photographer.

Oh my, that's a lot of movies of that ilk. Those are not up my wife's line and I might try them by myself sometime.

For humor I recommend a couple of series, The Upstart Crow and Inside Number Nine. The former is about William Shakespeare as an aspiring playwright, husband and father. The latter is a series of stand-alone episodes with elements of comedy, horror and/or perverse humor.
