I did not blame Mr Trump for ORIGINATING the virus, but for downplaying its seriousness. According to Bob Woodward Mr Trump early on knew it was really serious, but decided to claim that it was no worse that the seasonal flu, that it would disappear come warm weather. He didn't move rapidly to make PPE to the states; they had to bid against each other in some cases. He sidelined Dr Fauci because the good doctor didn't agree with Mr Trump's happy talk. Since the election Mr Trump has ignored the pandemic, preferring to play golf and hold superspreader rallies. Nature made the virus, Trump made it a disaster in the US.S

I agree with you that 2022 and 2024 will be most interesting. I am particularly curious to know if Trump will make another attempt at the presidency, thereby effectively blocking the chance for the GOP to put up a decent person.

You say you are a Trump supporter, but many on here "support" Trump despite not holding him in high regard; it's more a party loyalty or anti-Biden thing than a true love and respect for Trump. How about you?

Frankly, I'm over them. Let them see who and what they voted for and hope that our majority in the Senate holds so they can only implement a fraction of it. We've never played the dirty politics game at their level and the dumbest of their supporters is a ticking time bomb of burn and pillage. When they can't make their radical base happy, they better hope they can effectively blame us for it, because if not, they're going to have to deal with them.

Taking Trump out of the Whitehouse is not going to reduce fatal police incidents, it's not going to solve the problem of homelessness and crime in liberal cities, it's not going to reduce covid cases, and it's certainly not going to solve our abysmal education results.

Hopefully, Nancy Pelosi is going to the gallows as speaker.
