Guess these two didn’t get Joe’s memo to “stop treating our opponents as our enemies.”

Ah yes, let the healing begin . . .

“Let’s remember that tens of millions of people voted for the status quo (Donald Trump),
even when it meant supporting lies, hate, chaos, and division.
We’ve got a lot of work to do to reach out to these folks in the years ahead
and connect with them on what unites us.”
—Michelle Obama
November 7

“They (Trump voters) are threatening our lives.
They don’t mind if we die.
So I’m sorry if you Trump supporters are feeling a little sad this morning.
But, yes, we’re going to dunk on y’all,
because you 70 million people said all of that was fine,
do more of that, just give me a few more pennies in tax cuts if you don’t make a million dollars a year.
You didn’t even really get anything.
All you got was cruelty towards people like me.”
—Joy Reid
MSNBC Host

To which Ari Fleischer replied . . .

“Resist. Overturn. Boycott. Surveil. Leak. Impeach.
And now they tell us it’s time to heal.
Where were they for the last four years?”

The country would be best served if everyone tried to keep the divide and hatred flowing.

So, the new motto: ”Let the Hatred and Blame Amplify and Flourish”.

And we all should never forget who started it—although that is in question.

So have you started to “”” let”” the healing begin any more than they have.
Kinda like the kettle calling the pot black.

There is no question in my mind as to the origin of the hate, it started when Trump announced his Candidacy, it then went up a notch when he became the Candidate, and then in Nov 2016 when he won and made complete fools of the left wing media by winning against all their predictions of complete failure the division became mainstream media vengeance.

Everybody loved Obama—so yes, it started with Trump announcing his candidacy.
I remember well.

Sounds to me like you just started it. I haven't heard it before although I have seen it for the past 4 years from the Left. How amazing you on the Left have attacked Trump and his family without mercy since before he was sworn in. Now you want peace and a loving relationship between parties. Amazing, huh? Why didn't you say this 4 years ago? Why didn't anybody on the Left?

Sorry my friend but I have never felt the hatred such as the Left has felt for President Trump and his entire family. I did not like Obama's policies but never felt the hatred you people do for the Trump family.

I point out two people on the Left who are creating more division and rather than agree with me that it is bad as well as sad, you somehow find a way to say I am creating division and I am worse than they are. Now talk about deflection, it seems your skills in that department are endless. Keep up the good work.

Well, NO, not everybody loved Obama. I hated his policies and his anti American comments throughout the world. But I would never have treated him as negatively as the entire Trump family has been treated by the Left.

I have said before many times. I thought Trump to be a narcissistic con-man and bully with no sense of fair play well before he ran for President. I thought he might rise to the position after he was elected but sadly, his personal lack of decency prevailed, and he proved to be the hate-filled, ineffective, and controversial to this day, even after defeat.
Trump likes to play the victim—but that is a lie. He triggers and feeds off controversy with name calling and disrespect to all those who disagree with him.
I would have liked the country to unite under Obama, and then under Trump—but neither President could pull that off. So, at this point, do I want the country to unite under Biden? Yes, for the good of all Americans, I would like to see the hatred subside, and a feelings of nationalism prevail.
I have my concerns that Trump took it too far.

Get real. Remember when Mitch publicly stated that his only job was to make sure Obama did not get a second term. That happened early, and it was based on hate. He was the man in charge of the Republican senate.

The Trump family are not victims—they are grifters and opportunists every day of their lives.
Again, get real.

This country is in bad shape; we all should pray for unity, and not care who takes responsibility or gets credit for fixing us. Obama didn’t do it, Trump made it worse; and if it continues and escalates, we will not survive.

To begin, we have to survive the pandemic, which is doubtful, since Trump chose to ignore it for eleven months.

"We" started it. We can't point our fingers at anyone but us. Its been festering for years - Obama didn't start it either. IMO its no coincidence that as social media became more popular society's anger and division amplified.

Agreed and why I have not been a part of Facebook for now 5 years plus and doubt that I will ever return. Never got Twitter so was never a part of that thing. Good riddance.
