Printers need frequent use. I had a similar problem because I had not used the printer for a while. A new set of inks solved the problem. It is an older Epson.
One expression which has appeared since I left the U.S. fifty years ago is "you know what?" I really noticed it when I was last there. I make no judgement, but the phrase seems to appear everywhere on American media. Of course we have plenty of annoying phrases in Australian speech as well.
I remember when Edsels came out (I grew up in the states). I never worked out why the marque failed. They didn't look any better or worse than anything else of that era.
I'm just pleased that I kept my Kinderman 35 and 120 tanks and reels as well as a dark bag and light boxes. I'll probably get a Plustek 35mm scanner. Cheers
That's pretty close to the truth for a lot of us, I fear. I'll shoot a bit of the CN41 "black and white" for a while because I can get it printed conveniently and see how it goes. I have a few film cameras, Minolta and Leicas with lots of lenses. I don't fancy trying to hang Minolta lenses on the likes of a Fuji XE2! It seems to work but it sounds rather messy.
Is there anybody here uses only film. Just curious really. I'm debating going back to mostly film and using a film scanner. I know it will be a rather steep learning curve in order to get useful scans, but I might give it a try. I have the wherewithal to develop black and white film. Any thoughts?
I find Safari a bit "flakey" after upgrading to Mavericks. It intermittently quits or freezes. Otherwise, no problems
I ordered a $50 item from Adorama. I got charged $75 for shipping to Australia. When I complained they gave me a reasonable credit on the freight. I was pleased with their service.
It's kangaroos that you have to watch our for in Oz. They're not all out in the countryside either.
The same situation exists here in Australia as well. Manufacturing is constantly moving offshore. Most "Made in Australia" products often contain components from other places, including foodstuffs.
I use (Not enough!) Leica M3,M6, and a Minolta X700. I have been waiting for this subject to be mentioned but I was reluctant
to bring it up myself because UHH seems to be so digitally oriented, which is natural enough these days. :-D
I think I just gained five kilos! Good shot.
He doesn't look very happy. Stand by for some form of retaliation!
