For now I had 12 teeth pulled this morning in preparation for a pet/ct scan. I took my first self portrait before and afters but need to load them on my computer probably in the morning when i can get up and moving better.

Hello...I'm new to the site!!! Need help setting up home studio!

First welcome to the hog. Some great folks here but you need to be more specific with your questions to get positive feed back.
I actually am starting on the same quest your are with the home studio. I have found a lot of info on YouTube and another web site DIgital photography school. They have a lot of fairly cheap e books a stuff that I find helpful. You can also go to the resources section on here for almost anything.

Good luck and shoot shoot shoot. That's the best way to learn.
