Interesting. Maybe they should try to understand why there are so many more of them in the state this season. They don't increase numbers or move into new areas on a whim.Somethings' up.

http://www.woodtv.com/news/local/grand-rapids/snowy-owls-shot-at-ford-airport Too many owls up North this year per aviation officials. Have shot 9 so far, and have just started trying to trap the owls using pigeons as bait.

I want to share this link with those that may have an interest in mounting a cam to your motorcycle or car or what ever... I hope it's ok to post this ? I want to ad that I'm in NO way making any money from the link. I have nothing to do with RAM other than being a very happy owner of their mounting brackets. This photo 0n the right, shows a bit of my mount. I'll post a better one later. Also you can find video clips on you tube showing the use of the mount. I'm about to place an order for a three suction cup mount so I can use it as a tripod on my motorcycle. I'd like to say, If all you have to say about this product is on the neg side, please don't respond at all. Thanks

I've used Ram mounts on my Goldwing for Garmin and drink cups but moving camera shots through a plexiglass windshield would not be the greatest I would think. Video might be fair.

I have Norton Internet Security guarding three of my computers and haven't noticed anything unusual. At one time, Norton did slow the computer down, but newer versions don't.

I live in Michigan, and my laptop started running slow yesterday. Noticed Norton was calling for a security update so I tried but download was taking forever. I then uninstalled Norton and reinstalled from Infinity(Comcast). Software in Michigan comes free with internet & cable service. Working OK now.

Left his last name off. (TJ Smith) Went to YouTube. Looks like and plays guitar similar but I don't think he sounds exactly like SRV. Hard to replace that. Would like to see in concert if I didn't live so far away. (Michigan).

This Christmas Cactus was taken as a small cutting from one over a hundred years old. It usually blooms twice a year. Easter and Thanksgiving, never Christmas.

My wife keeps ours in shady area during summer, waters occasionally, then puts into a cool place during the fall (for 2 or 3 months). When brought back to the warmth at the Holidays it will flower.

I do not normally use any post other than color and contrast, but this did get a fix for distortion and used a bit of HDR to reveal the grunge on the pier. The Grunge is more true to life than the RAW image but HDR+CPL darkening did make the sky a bit unreal.

Is this the Grand Haven, MI Lighthouse / Pier?

Six or so weeks ago I ordered a JCC timer/remote control. It arrived the day after I left for an extended trip. I arrived home earlier this week. Despite being advertised as compatible with the Sony a77 it was not. The plug was for a completely different camera make/model. (A rectangular socket with a triangular pin pattern). Since I have missed the 30 day return policy with Amazon and efforts to contact the seller have been in vain I am about to resort to the following:

My Sony a77 uses a rectangular three pin socket. I am thinking if I cut the end off of my old remote and splice it onto the new cord do you think it would work or do you recommend against it?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Ask Amazon to extend their return policy pass 30 days. They have made exceptions for me before.
