The roar of the water as it rushes through the rock cut can be heard from a long way off.

Very pretty Pierre.

I fell off a rubber raft in the Salt Water River in AZ when it was moving pretty fast. Sure took me for a ride. But thankfully it was not moving as fast
as your river there.

Cool set Merry. Some snakes are cool. I will have to make sure I save these pictures. Rems is scare of snakes. I think I will enlarge the shots and chase him around the house.

40 mm Canon "pancake" lens = 66 mm on my APS-C camera.

At the arboretum this morning, a Western Pasque Flower. This is the flower that has the cool "hairy mop" seed pods later on. I hadn't seen any at the arboretum before this year; they are abundant at 5,000' elevation (Chinook Pass, Cascade Mountains).

PP is Nik Color Efex Polaroid filter, with the center flowers masked from the effect. Aperture was 3.5

Very nice Linda. Pretty. Those hairy pods sorts look like my legs , better break out the mower to shave my legs. Lol

I have been away from the forum for some time with intermittent posts and looking in from time to time. I have ventured into other venues and mediums... Flickr for one as well as a number of others. I also have acquired the camera you see and have been enjoying again trying my hand at medium format. I am grateful for those who sent me pm's and those who have graciously welcomed me back. This is truly a very intelligent and nurturing community. I continue to learn and receive a large dose of inspiration. Thank you all!

Great set Erv. Around the Toledo area the got 8 inches. We did not get that much near the lake, or this part anyways. But we have grass again. Green grass at that. Looks like Harrison and Janny was having fun.

Thanks for looking Sue. Glad you liked them.
But gee did you really have to tell me that you had a "real" working dog???? I should show that statement to Remmington. Lol. He sure is far from a working dog. But he is a great lazy dog. Lol
