Whether I have a mother or I really was plucked from a cabbage patch......you should never talk about someone's family unless you know them. Talk about my family again and I'll invite you to a meeting in the alley downtown.

And maybe keep your arrogance in check. You make liberals look every bit as bad as you try to make conservatives look.

I am just wondering, are you a nephew of Bill O'Reilly?
You sound just like him.
Silly, empty threats and all.
Remember his boycotting France?
Were you first to sign the petition?
By the way, do not degrade cabbage or I will come and find you and there will be retribution.

Liberal pukes like you have zero rights to speak about my mother.

Excuse me, I just assumed you had a mother.

In the news, often recently in the Los Angeles area, there are reports, with videos, showing criminals using unidentified small boxes to quickly gain access to cars of any make.
Perhaps what is discussed in the article is not so far fetched.

So then Remoman.......explain to me how this republican not understanding the bill she's trying to get passed is any different than all the democrats who said that we had to pass Obamacare to see what was inside the Obamacare bill.

Trust me.....you liberals are just as stupid as those republicans are. The only difference is that you walk around with your noses stuck up in the air because you think you are "all that".

Remember.........if you find something dumb a republican did.....I guarantee a democrat has also done the same dumb thing. So get off your high horse and say something constructive or something we don't already know.

Interesting, Remoman. You felt the need to inform US as to what a "rape-kit" is, yet you expect a Texas State Representative to instinctively know what it is. I'm pleased to be on the "right side" of your double standard.

I actually thought someone pushing a bill on the legislative floor would understand the contents of the bill.
The reason I placed the explanation on UHH is that I believe some of the old farts, sitting around in their PJs and bunny slippers, may not have gotten out recently and could be unaware of what a rape kit is.

just another sign that "The Apolalyspe of the Zombies" is upon us.

But who knew the Zombies were a subset of Republicans?

See:
"I think video games is a bigger problem than guns, because video games affect people." Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.)

"They are used to defend our property and our families and our faith and our freedom, and they are absolutely essential to living the way God intended for us to live."
California Rep. Tim Donnelly (R), talking about guns on The Bottom Line. So, was Jesus packing?

"Slavery and abortion are the two most horrendous things this country has done but when you think about the immorality of wild, lavish spending on our generation and forcing future generations to do without essentials just so we can live lavishly now, it's pretty immoral." Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-Texas), equating slavery with the national debt.

"Watch a sonogram of a 15-week baby, and they have movements that are purposeful. They stroke their face. If they’re a male baby, they may have their hand between their legs. If they feel pleasure, why is it so hard to believe that they could feel pain?” Current Republican Rep. Michael Burgess, arguing that male babies masturbate in utero.

"Understand though, that when we talk about exceptions, we talk about rape, incest, health of a woman, life of a woman. Life of the woman is not an exception." Former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh

"If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down." Rep. Todd Akin (R-Missouri). His lost his Senate bid in 2012.

"One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country.... Many of the Christian faith have said, well, that's okay, contraception is okay. It's not okay. It's a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be." Rick Santorum, former Republican senator from Pennsylvania and former presidential hopeful

"As long as it's inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it." Former Texas Republican gubernatorial contender Clayton Williams on rape

For those who may not know, a rape kit is something used to collect evidence of a rape that may be presented in a court.
It is not, as Texas State Rep. Jodie Laubenberg thinks, a method of preventing pregnancy.
And she is the floor leader pushing for the bill?????

Women should not be on the battle field, this is very stupid.

I think women should also not be allowed to have babies because it is very hard on their bodies - and it makes their boobs sag and they are not so cute afterwards.
Seriously????
There are many studies that show women's bodies to be stronger and more superior to men's in many ways.
Studies aside, look at the women soldiers in the Soviet army in WWII, they fought as hard or harder than their male counterparts - and often were more brutal.
The experience of the female workforce in America during WWII is another example.
The only change was that the leaders allowed them to work because of wartime necessity.
We could also go back to the pioneers crossing the plains or the women doing the heavy work on farms.
Women will do what they have to do.
The ideal of the weak woman needing protection is and always has been a myth.

Let me paraphrase what you just wrote and step back in time, "I don't know much about the history of Pro Football, but I do know that There are No Blacks playing on Pro Football teams.
And of course, "Boys will be Boys!"

If you check, the programs in Calif do not many physicians, esp the better ones and the so called "good" hospitals are not participating.

And, what did the uninsured have previously?
The insurance companies and doctors and hospitals participation equals money.
I expect it will only be a matter of time and all will be on board.
