It is not, as Texas State Rep. Jodie Laubenberg thinks, a method of preventing pregnancy.
And she is the floor leader pushing for the bill?????

There is no one to trust. All anyone is interested in is the next soundbite. We can argue all we want and nothing, I mean nothing will get solved.
The monster (meaning the Government) is totally out of control and I seriously doubt that anyone is going to reign it back in. Much to my chagrin.
I know, I know, the sky is falling. All I am saying is the snowball going downhill has gained a lot of impetus and trying to make arguments about rape, abortion, freedom, the right to bare arms, are all really insignificant because these problems are not what our government leaders should be discussing. They need to quit screwing around, trying to get reelected, and decide what to do to save the republic.

I actually thought someone pushing a bill on the legislative floor would understand the contents of the bill.
The reason I placed the explanation on UHH is that I believe some of the old farts, sitting around in their PJs and bunny slippers, may not have gotten out recently and could be unaware of what a rape kit is.

Seriously, it is fair to expect a state (regardless of which state it is Danilo :D )representative that sits on a Public Health Committee and uses abortion issues as a political platform as Laubenberg does, to know what an "abortion kit" will and wont do before she makes a comment about said kit.
