Very nice shot neighbor!

Now THAT looks delicioso! Nice shot and great colors too. I just got the M-10 II and so far am not getting colors like that. But then I don't have that lens.

No, I don't try to. I just enjoy doing it. One time I took a couple of shots of a lady loving on her horse, and when I showed her she said "Oh I'd love to have an 8 by 10 of that." So, I got her one and handed her the receipt, and she said "Sorry, I don't have my check book with me." Then I saw that unless you are in business as a photographer people won't even reimburse you for the cost of prints.
Now I share with people freely and enjoy doing it, and most appreciate it.

Jerry, If you use all those computers, how on earth do you have time to send 62,971 messages on UHH?

I really, really like number 2 Linda. The contrast of the red barn and the white fence matching the snow. Very nice.

I recently went to 4/3rds with an Olympus E-M10 II and have no complaints so far. However, when you change from one format to another, don't get rid of the old until you're completely satisfied with the new, whatever it is. Just advice from years past in my experience, not now.

Congratulations Marilyn! I just hope he doesn't get hurt in the near riot that is coming at the convention. By the way, I really like your new avatar. The old one was interesting, but I never did figure it out completely.

Number 1...very nice. Straight forward, and uncomplicated.

Hey Wesso, I'm only a couple hours North of you and they are predicting snow flakes today.
Great shot though...really gives me Spring Fever!

I really like the greens in the last one, but I think it still needs the door in it.

Let me share my recent experience, FWIW: I was trying to get into Micro 4/3rds but the local camera store did not have the E-M1. I studied and researched and on the basis of the much easier to navigate Panasonic menu, I got a Panasonic GH3 which was a very good price since it had been superceded by newer models. I ordered the Panasonic 12-35 f/2.8 and I already had the Oly 45 f/1.8. When I got the GH3, the Olympus lens just WOULD NOT install on the GH3. It would turn part way, but not all the way. The 12-35 wasn't much better but I could get it in place with considerable effort. So, finally I returned both the camera and lens. I took the Oly 45/f1.8 to a camera store and woola, the Oly fit on Oly cameras just fine! So, even though the GX8 looked tempting, I didn't risk getting into the same mess again and having to do more returns...I bought an Olympus E-M10 II and am happy so far (except for lack of a good grip.) In the meantime I got the Panasonic 35-100 f/4-5.6 and it works fine on the Olympus. Maybe I just got a freak GH3, but I wonder about Oly lenses on Panny cameras. So if you can handle the GX8 before purchase, try a couple of Oly lenses on it to be sure.

Great shots. Thanks for the tour.

Welcome Bud! I'm about an hour North of you. Those shots look familiar.

Interesting shots James. You should go to Columbus, Indiana and see the architecture there.

I really like number 2 Linda. The smile is great.
