I couldn't imagine life without Prime...especially since I don't live in a big city.

TG-5 gets my vote...I use a TG-4 for work site photos (a lot of photos are taken in construction zones). It's been dropped, kicked, rained on, and used in extreme cold...and it keeps on ticking.

Prints on metal, if they are full of color and are going to be large, or in a public space.
If printing large but not full of color, I like framed canvas.
Otherwise, Fuji Crystal Archive paper.

My go to printers are CGPROPrints for first two...otherwise Mpix.com.

ILIS is clearly superior in longer lenses to IBIS.

Technically it's better to have them working together...if your camera supports it. No way at this point would I give up my EM1ii IBIS.

Sometimes you've got to pay to play...but this comment from you doesn't surprise me as you're still using dial up...seriously, it's time to upgrade.

Great link. As a long time reader AND creator of manuals, it’s my mantra for learning most anything.

I was going to tell Chris that you knew what it meant...as I've seen you post it several times. I felt it was particularly relevant to the original post.

Everything you want to know about a particular camera and lens combination will be in it.

...measured in Fairbanks, Alaska

Taken in Fairbanks, January 2012 with my old Olympus E-5 (4/3, not m4/3) and the 7-14mm f4. Bitter cold that day (well below 0 most of that morning/afternoon). Had zero issues, besides cold toes and fingers.

EXACTLY, USER ID … that 7.5 stops was probably measured in Fairbanks, Alaska …

Go to the North Pole, or Antarctica … and now you're looking at 9-11 stops!!!!

Only thing is … at either of those places, your lenses are likely to freeze up …

So, now … you've gone FULL CIRCLE (Arctic)

But we’re olympus. We’re freezeproof.

The "bean counters" do this, and some managers.
Consider the CD's:
People to burn the CD's
People to stick the labels on the CDs
People to adress the envelopes.
People to put the CDs into the enevelopes.
People to lick the stamps and attach them to the envelopes.
People to take the envelopes to the post office for posting.

Consider downloads:
Once it has been set up then the customer does it all.
ie: No workers needed and that can be a major part of the operating costs.
The "bean counters" do this, and some ma... (show quote)

And then all the cd’s end up in the dump...just download the dang firmware and be done with it. Quit trying to make an agreement out of nothin, Chris.

Dual IS, huh? … So that means their stop capability is doubled, does it?

"It's NOT Olympus good" C?

No. Dual Image Stabilization. Meaning it combines in body image stabilization and in lens stabilization. It works quite well, but it’s not as effective as the em1ii or em1x.

Certain Panasonic lenses and cameras have dual IS. It’s good, but it’s not Olympus good.
