Hi. Got quite a few responses to my postings of Tugboat and Boats art, created in PhotoShop from my original photographs. Here's another one created from a photo I took in Frenchtown, NJ. There are 33 layers in the file, and it's not complete yet.

Very cool I love it. I want to see your Tugboat and Boats art. Please P/M me with a link. Thank You.

If some of you are so worried about professionalism you might want to edit your comments before posting, i.e. spelling. A mark of a true professional is attention to detail in all aspects of any endeavour.

My favorites are 4, 5, and the last one. Wouldn't mind handing the last on the wall. Nice

Thank you. You can hang that on your wall, I do sell my work. Send a PM of what size you might like. Have a wonderful Holiday and the best for the New Year.

I wish that I could compose like that.

Thank you and everybody for the comments. I lived in Columbia, MO and I love the KC music scene. I have some good friends that play at The Landing.

C&C= 1st shot, like it crooked, kind of goes with the old time look you applied to the photo. #2-- would like to see what the truck would look like W/O all the oversaturation or whatever it was you did. #3--average pic of 2 kids on the street, nothing special, done everyday by parents everywhere. #4-- Fantastic, love it, yes those are your girls. #5-- only if I can listen to the Beatles playing "Blackbird" in the background. Nice group to critique and remember these are merely my opinions......

I got the Nikon P500 for wildlife and scenic pictures. I chose that one because of the zoom. I wanted to get up-close with the wildlife without actually getting too close. It did what I wanted, but I wasn't happy with the quality of pictures. I would like to get some pictures I can blow up and put into frames. Any recommendations on a better camera. I've been looking at the Nikon d5100 and the sony a65.
Not always the camera it's in the eye of the artist. Very nice work.

What is it with people's obsession with "straightness". As an artifact of the lens used and the position the shot was taken from. The ability to fix this with software is very recent. Are people so jaded now by this ability as to feel it is absolutely necessary for every picture to be "perfect"?

Thank you I agree. It is in the eye of the beholder. I don't want to be like everybody else in this world. I see what I see.

I don't mind that the drug store is not straighti like that it's not, that's the perspective from your position. Really like the old truck photo.
