Hoping all have a great Thanksgiving.....
I still shoot film only. I can agree with the coments about the processing. I live in Kingman AZ, and the only choice here is Walgreens. So now I go to a lab in Las Vegas about a hundred miles away.. The difference in overwhelming.....
I just got a canoscan9000f It does slides negatives and old 120 film plus will scan a photo and make PDF documents. I've only had it for two weeks but I LOVE IT.... The dust and scratch removal works very nicely.
Loved the first two. Fantastic work.. and BTW I wouldn't change anything
The simple solution to all of yjis is go back to film....................
Just scanned this image from a long time ago. Please let me know if you like it.

Hi guys and gals.... I just got my new Canoscan 9000f. I scanned a couple negatives and want to see what you think. I'm going to scan some old 120 film soon.. I'll post the results when I'm done.
I like the first one best. I have quite a few sunsets from here in the past few years. My new scanner is coming today or tomorrow. I'm going to go post crazt then..
Very nice shot and I vote for the vingetting I'd leave it.
I like the original as is. No cropping necessary.
I started in the early 90's with film. I still don't own a digital camera. Not even a point and shoot. Yes it's getting a litttle harder to get film. ( I don't really mind. I have to drive a hundred miles to Las Vegas to get 120 for my medium format and get slides processed.)I am still learning film. guess I'll never know it all. I have stayed away from digital because of planned obsolesence. Seems like every couple of years a new digital comes out for a lot of money. I can buy a lot of film for that same money. Plus the fact that I have 4 old cameras now and several lenses to go with them.
I can still get 120 film in Las Vegas. about a hundred miles from here.
Diet Coke, Chevy Monte Carlo, Wrangler jeans, and old Canon film cameras here.
