You shot all of these on the same day ????? Way better than watching the super bowl.
The RR companies did not invite these punks to paint gang crap on their cars. When the "art" (I use that term loosely) covers up the UPC, it screws up the RR. Art should never be placed where it is not wanted.
I like the pic except for the portion of the fence between you and the wagon. My attention was drawn to the fence instead of what I considered the subject.
I cain't speel very good either butt my intentishun are good. Ian, if they can read my scribbles, they can read yers.
nice pic. composition, lighting and color.
Thank you for serving my country. You can't imagine how grateful I am.
The snow is on the ground. The stuff on the weeds and trees is "Pogo-nip". (at least that is what it is called here in Nevada). Early in the morning when the sun first comes up, it looks like trees full of diamonds.
A lot of cowboys look like that. It is because they spend a lot of time in the sun with a hat on. The top part of their head does not get tanned or burned and the bottom gets tanned or burned. Also when the sun goes down they sometimes get a bar room suntan. Anyway,,,, It is an excelent pic of an old geezer. I love pics of old geezers and children.
Easterners are somtimes amazed at the openness of the west. A friend picked up a relative at the Reno airport and ws driving east on US 50 (the lonliest road in America)She had her camera and she ask him to stop. He ask what she was taking a picture of. She replied "nothing, absolutely nothing" She was refering to the fact she could see nothing built by man except the hiway.
Go west young photographer , go west.
I like Vislp's version the best. In all honesty, it would be hard to get a bad picture of that absolutely beautiful little girl. She is almost as pretty as some of my great grand daughters. ( I am a bit prejudice)
I thought Colorado used "western count". In the west that would be a 4 X 4, not a ten point. Were you that close or were you useing a long lens?
I also grew up in Red Bluff. I can't figure out where "Mary lake" is. Nice pics.
I have not tried this yet with my DSLR but with a film camera it is no big deal here in Nevada. Lots of places with no ambient light. Try hiway US 50 about half way between Austin and Eureka. While you are there you can catch some good daylight pics also.
Yes. Pic #1 looks real.
Pic #2 looks over exposed. I personally like natural. When my oldest daughter was young and experimenting with make up, I would tell her if the make up is detectable, then it is too much. Same goes for photos . (in my humble opinion)
You have beautiful daughters. Tell her those extremely horrible looking pants detract from her pretty face.
(hope she enjoys the goodies)
