Hi, I have posted a few times here and always get great help and advise. And thankfully I have thick skin which seems to help with this hobby! So don't worry about hurting my feelings. If any of you remember, I like the look of over exposed photos. My histograms tell me they are terrible but I always like the ones that I should dump. I think it is the brightness of the eyes that draws me to the over exposed. Is there a way to fix the exposure without doing anything to the eyes in Lightroom 3? Also is there a way to get rid of the chair? My husband usually does this for me but he said the chair is going to be hard in LR because it is so close to her face. Feel free to try and repost photo if you choose. I would appreciate it. Thanks

I used PSE10. I used the clone stamp tool to remove the chair, then re-painted the background, used the quick selection tool to select the girl and lowered the exposure slightly. To keep from lowering the exposure of the eyes, I also selected them with the quick selection tool.

And lots of practice! ;)

Love the soft baby colors of this shot. Adorable little lady.

Thanks Dria! I was wishing the backdrop was white. I originally had her in a white dress against a pink backdrop but then changed her into pink. Is there a way to change the back ground color? If so, do you think I should change it to white?

I like Vislp's version the best. In all honesty, it would be hard to get a bad picture of that absolutely beautiful little girl. She is almost as pretty as some of my great grand daughters. ( I am a bit prejudice)

Thanks Patriot! Do you like his pink background or the white? I can't decide. His work is perfect. I need to practice! I did not even know what Gimp was!!!!!

hhhmmmm - I like yours the best - more color to it which eliminates that washed out look.

These were just some fairly quick edits. It would probably look much better with the original size photo. :) I didn't spend too much time on it at all.
