Here we are at the last weekend of July. It's the "weekend-post-whatever-you-wish" - leftovers from Judy's challenge "Capturing Photos your Audience will Love", recent shots you've taken etc. Thank you JJ for hosting last week's challenge. Remember, I am simply starting the weekend post, it's OK to "post and run". Comments are appreciated but never obligatory and take time - time to spend on summer fun. I'll start off with 3 taken a few weeks ago and just recently "worked".

Recently, one of our members asked if I might post some photos of my streetrod that appears in my avatar, so here goes with a brief description of the car. My 1933 Chevy Streetrod is an all steel 2dr sedan that began its life as a Streetrod in Ontario, Canada. I bought it in 1999 from the original owner/builder who completed the car in 1995 while I was living near Lake Placid, NY. The car now resides with us in Lake Placid, Fl. It runs a warmed over 350ci Chevy backed by a Turbo 400 transmission, Mustang II front suspension and 4-link rear suspension and has 4-wheel disc brakes. Those are Boyd Coddington wheels that match the center section of the steering wheel. It was pretty well constructed to begin with, but I have redone some things and replaced some parts over the years that I have owned it. It has always been street driven, never a trailer queen, and still provides us with a lot of enjoyment.

sounds like a really good idea but none I know of or can find as a search item? Perhaps first find a seat with wheels that fits your needs for hight, weight etc then find a bag you could attach in either a permanent or temporary way like drill holes and screw it on or bungy?

good luck with the project, I will be watching for wiser, better options

It is with a very sad heart that I read today on the Hog of the passing of Gregory. He was a dedicated birder who operated out of the Everglades and was an inspiration to me for the several years that I knew him. He was always willing to meet and take out a fellow birder to show his favorite spots. His work was simply superlative! RIP my friend, you will always be in my heart.

Being new to more than point and shoot, I'm wondering if any of you pros or semi pros would recommend taking accredited, online, photography courses? Is it a waste of time? I'm not looking to make a career out of it. Being medically retired, I just want photography to be more than a hobby and less than a job. Thank you for your time and answers.

New York Institute of Photography was a wise course for me. Worth the time and effort
