Wow! Outfitting McDonald's with this device! Why would anyone want to 'steal' hamburgers??
'Give me a dozen 'burgers' and put them in a plain brown bag, oh and some fries too1 .... or you die [?] WTF
As I understand it, the tobacco and booze lobbies played heavily in influencing [ that would be money and power] the Congress to outlaw marijuana, But it goes further than that, hemp production was also outlawed. Hemp is one of nature's greatest assets to us.Paper, clothing, pharmaceuticals and who knows what else, if legal research could be carried out.
The people with money run the show their way and without some regulation, those of us who play the game by the rules and or are less powerful are pretty much at the mercy of the big guys.
This should stimulate some interesting responses!
Maybe I'm wrong, but the intent of offering a joke here is to amuse us. To nit pick it to death suggests that the reader needs to take a moment and relax and find a way to enjoy other's good natured efforts.
I'm going to try that in my Model A..I'll let you know how it turns out.
The president of Austria was conveniently murdered around the time of Anschluss. He vehemently opposed Hitler's aggression.
Back in the fifties in southern California, that knob was often called a 'brodie wheel'. It allowed the driver to make a very fast u turn called a 'brodie'. That is what I remember as a teenager. Your recollections may differ.
Canterbury Shaker Village, NH is at the top in historical fidelity.
A visit to Mount Washington, NH weather permitting is a treat. Boston's Liberty Trail is history at your finger tips. The Maine coast and its lighthouses are lobstah are a must. North Sutton and Muster Field Farm Museum is just minute from New London.
This guy keeps shouting 'solar highways'. I guess that is supposed to convince you that he is right. Here in New England we have snow and ice and SALT and snowplows. That combination should pretty well destroy these solar modules. Do you ride a motorcycle? I bet you can't wait to ride in the rain on this glass roadway.
Save a confrontation with the police and drown it in the bathtub.
Nice picture of a great car. I have a deluxe Tudor 1931 Ford Model A that I've driven 33,000 miles in the past fifteen years. Attended the 2003 Ford centennial in Dearborn without a hitch. If you ever want an old car, consider the Model A, as they only appreciate in value and parts are readily available.
Pemiquid Light should not be overlooked.

About Jonathan Winters, if you want a little insight into his marvelous mind, read his book 'Winter's Tales'.
48/48 Being a teenager in the fifties was all about cars.
The Evergreen Air Museum is a real treat. I spent the day there in 2013. I had ridden my 1977 BMW R100/7 out to the coast for a rally and had the extra time to explore some attractions. In my opinion, the museum suffered greatly from not being advertised well. I only heard about it by word of mouth while camping on the Columbia River in Washington. Evergreen spent over 4 million dollars to build the huge hangar for the Spruce Goose and move her from Long Beach CA. Your door charge will get you on board and an extra twenty dollars at the plane will enable you to go up the circular stairs to the flight deck.
Have a good time!
