I have a 7100 but like most you can set the parameters . I set mine between 100 and 400 unless I need to change it then I do I either change to shutter speed or aperture depending what mode Im in.
I have a D7100 and my favorite lens is a Nikor 18-200 . I use this lens for everything . I buy all my lenses from KEH , they have good quality used lenses , they guarantee their product and you have Nikon lenses instead of a a other brand.
