Don't blame her age. Most of us at 70 are still quite functional, thank you very much.

I wouldn't have questioned it if it was the only strange thing she did, but it's another in a long list of things that make me shake my head.

* 100+ copies of a spreadsheet, she added a 1,2,3 ect each time she resaved after making a correction or update. The spreadsheet is the employee phone number, address and birthday list.

* she filed the bubble wrap and air filled pillows from packages that were delivered to the office, I have 3 large file cabinets full.

* she never cleaned out or purdged her files, I have the manual for a typewriter, we don't have the typewriter.

* I have a file in my drawer filed with preprinted labels...."labels". Yep she labeled all the labels.

She was over 70, I think she might have been forgetting things.

What do you mean there was no winner? I was in the military at that time and seem to remember that North Vietnam kicked our butt out of there then took over the south. Sounds like they won to me.

You did realize that there was no winner in Viet Nam conflict, right? And I'm pretty sure when it comes right down to it there is no "winner" in any military war or conflict.

Here are a few taken many years ago. Picture #1 is the original photo taken in B&W. Picture #2 is a colorized version of #1 using, I think, Photoshop but don't remember which version. I thought it did a pretty good job of colorizing. Picture #3 was experimenting with Kodak High Contrast Copy Film.

Hadn't noticed it before but the name in the background is the camera I used

I guess I did miss those posts since I have no idea what you are trying to say. Or which position you are taking.

You have a great day, too! ;)

I guess you didn't see the posts where people were called the devil's puppet, fools, idiots, etc simply because they don't believe what god-fearing people do, right? Ya I thought so.

I'd take being called short-sighted over being told I have no ethics, morals, values and I am a drain on society simply because I do not believe in the same god as someone else, any day.

We squander a lot of things on frivolous crap. I guess we do it because we can.

I also read we were running out of helium; and its importance in science and industry. As far as the article indicated there is no synthetic helium or suitable replacement.
Seems a shame we squandered so much of a precious commodity on foolish items like party ballons.

A 360 of my backyard about six years ago shortly after we moved in. Many changes since then. House repainted, the ugly Junipers removed as well as that huge, ugly bush, fence replaced, trees planted. There were more Junipers along that one fence that I had already removed before taking this photo. Maybe I'll have to redo the picture showing current conditions but I'll wait a few weeks until the trees leaf out.

Bought a Minolta P&S in the early 1960s. Then bought my first SLR in 1963. It was an Exacta VXIIA with a 58 mm Zeiss Biotar f/2 lens. There was absolutely nothing automated on the camera but it took great pictures and I used it into the 80s. Then graduated to a Canon AE-1P and then a Canon F-1. Have had a couple P&S digital cameras. Currently have a Canon D60 that I have had for a bunch of years.

There is a reality program on one of the cable channels like A&E or History or something about people who move large objects. The one time I watched it about a week ago, one of the projects was to move one of these phone booths and the trials and tribulations of the getting job done. According to the mover the booth is very heavy. If I remember correctly he was taking it to Florida. Maybe this is the phone booth he was moving. Just saying.
