Thanks Walt, I'm looking into it.

Meanwhile, I changed permissions on my 2 time lapsed videos to see if that fixed them.
Could someone take a peek and see if they run for you now, Please. :)

Funny how back in the 1990's I had to use different web browsers to check and cross-check web pages to make sure they would work. (Back then, mostly Win Explorer and Netscape)
This feels like a giant step backwards.... :hunf:
Thanks Walt, I'm looking into it. br br Meanwhile... (show quote)

Thank You for the feed back.
I apologize for the disappointment.

Any suggestions for a place that does work?

Hello Sonny

For the very little That I publish any videos I use You Tube and/or Vimeo, I know that You Tube is free but I'm not so sure about Vimeo. Of the two Vimeo has the best resolution, just my two bits worth, and good luck..

WALT

P. S.

I've had very poor luck as there has been a light over cast for the pass 10 days or so, just no good for looking for any meteors......

POS is a fact. I refer to mine as a Box-O-Rocks.
It's not fun when they misbehave.

Nope, I'm getting the same results as Phil. It's been my experience (all bad) with Flicker that you open an account and then keep adding more to it. I went back to your original Flicker post and expected to find two videos and one photo, your Avatar, did not find your latest video. da.....

Hang in there, I have a feeling you will get it right...

Today's riddle is for seniors...Here is the situation:

You are on a horse, galloping at a constant speed.

On your right side is a sharp drop-off.

On your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you.

Directly in front of you is a galloping kangaroo and your horse is unable to overtake it.

Behind you is a lion running at the same speed as you and the kangaroo.

What must you do to get out of this highly dangerous situation ?

Think logically before you track down for the answer

I have 64 bit Win 7 Pro. Anyone have this OS and upgrade to Win 10? Any issues with drivers, ... I'd appreciate feedback. I want to upgrade, but I feel a little waiting might be a wise move. Any opinion?

Thanks,

I'm going to wait and see, about 11 months. My win 7 pro 64 bit is running way too good. If it ain't broke don't fix it........

Using the new Canon 5DS with 50 mgp sensor, how much computer memory is needed to operate efficiently?

I just finished building my new computer and am presently in the process of final testing.

Some of my spec's that I included in the build.....

Intel 8 core CPU - water cooled
64 gig ram with quad cooling fans
dual 980 GPU's both are water cooled
dual 28 in HI RES monitors
dual 1 terabyte solid state drives
8 ea 4 terabyte hard drives

Am thinking of increasing my ram to 128 gig in the near future...

By all means max out computing power and ram. In there 2015 CC software Adobe has already started looking for multiple c p u cores and lots of RAM. Other software packegs are soon to follow...

I'm looking forward to doing some deep space Astrophotography and will need this type of computing power for photo processing.

I don't want to find a key to unlock and use my first line of defense.
Since most "accidents" happen with empty guns, mine are never empty. Rule one, always assume its loaded.

Last night, I tried my hand at creating a nine image panorama. The resulting image, with Vega in the center, has resulted in a 11655 x 6156 pixel image. Edges were uneven, so had to crop a little bit. I was using 50% overlap.

I used the Gaussian Blur/Difference technique to darken the sky. Taken with my Sony A99 (full frame) and a 70-200 zoom at 70mm. Use a tripod and shot 9 images at 3 sec each @f2.8 and ISO 3200. Reduced noise in DxO Optics Prime on each image first, creating 9 TIFF files. Then merged using Windows "Image Composite Editor", a free download. Darkened the resulting TIFF image in Photoshop, then went to Lightroom for final tweaks and conversion to JPEG.

You will need to download and click again to see how many stars are in the image. With this resolution, only one star, Vega, shows up in the thumbnail.

Holy smokes by golly what a PanO, that is just great ! ! ! !

I normally view the daily Hog on my tablet while having Breakfast, but today when I saw your photo I had to get on my big machine. My big machine has two 28 in. HD 4X monitors with a resolution of 3840 X 2160 each.

Well I have never seen anything just like your PanO, What a great idea ! ! ! Was your PanO taken in a landscape or portrait mode. I have been wondering just how 2 PanO's stacked on top of one another would work out. I have several PanO's of mountain ranges that I have taken, but I have never stacked them on top of one another, but have been thinking about it for a long time.

The other night I took several photo's of Jupiter and they all turned out looking like someone lost their cookies in the parking lot....

I took the photo's using my Sigma 150-500 (set on 500mm) using my Nikon D600, mounted on a tripod, triggering all photo's from my cell phone. The only thing I can think of, I was getting some mirror slap.

Well anyway I enjoyed your PanO and am looking for some more....

I think I was just too near sighted and had to look a few million more light years away than stuff on the Earth, or even in this solar system.
The key here is "Deep Space".
And the rest of the hardware and software is working together now.

Finally!!!!! Miracles never cease.

As I write this message I'm building a new desk top computer,
I will install Microsoft Windows 7 Pro Service Pack 1 on this new machine.

As I understand what I read from Microsoft, Windows 10 will be available free for one year from date of release. If true, I will run Win 7 for the one year just to see how things come out. If things look good I will then install Win 10.

I have at present two other machines running Win 7 pro. and will wait the one year for these machines also, at this time I will make my decision.

Luck to All on Win 10..............
