I would love to learn HDR. I have a Nikon D80 and Photoshop CS4 and I am not sure how to begin. Don't know my camera as well as I should.

I think the difference is noticable. Fun project MWAC. Looking forward to next week. This is such a helpful project. Really helpful! SHOULD THE ISO BE LOWER OR HIGHER ON THESE PIX? I hope we learn about that.

ISO 800 f4.2

ISO 800 f8

ISO 800 f25

ISO 800 F13

Here it is on Amazon. Looks like it might be discontinued. I bought 5 packs last summer at Office Depot and now they don't show it anymore. That sucks, its great paper for the price!

It was made by Hammermill, so they might have the same specs with a different name.

I have been researching. My packaging for Great White is from International Paper Cpmpany, turns out they are the parent company to Hammermill, I cannot find anything like the 37# imaging paper on any of their website info pages. Thats a shame, it really is/was good paper! Especially for the price! I have a phone number from the package 1-888-GR8-WHITE
I might call it after I get my daughter off to school.

Were you able to find it?

You were correct in that the upgrade upset the colors

Yes, I did, just today. Called Adobe and was told that since I had just upgraded my system to Snow Leopard I had to uninstall CS4 and reinstall it. Once done, still looked bad but after fiddling with the color settings for awhile I got it back to "perfect." Thank you for asking. I am now a happy camper.

I have tried calibrating several times with the calibration on the Mac. I think I will call Apple tomorrow and have them help me. I'm sure I am missing something somewhere. Thank you for your suggestion.

I have been using PS CS4 since it came out. I always use matte black ink on my Epson 2200 printer (It's old too) but has always produced wonderful prints. Also I used the calibrating system built into my Imac. I recently upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard and the colors are terrible. The original settings no longer produce a good image.

Not a bad drawing Don. Thank you for taking the time. You have an intriguing idea. Is "Universal Monitor Holder" your idea. Good name. g

dpullum,
I have been looking for several years for a desk where the monitor is sunken into it. I saw one on tv and couldn't find it anywhere. Any suggestions. ?

Thank you so much. Now I know what to look for "Downview computer desk" Unfortunately, I don't see one for a 24" imac which makes sense but that is what I need. I have found other stores as a result of your response and I will keep looking. Thanks for the info.

Do you have a pic of your glass top desk?

my glass top desk is at home and i willnot be there for 3 months as wife is traveling nurse but found it at fred myers store large grocery and dept store in oregon

So you bought the table and installed the shelf underneath. The one I saw did not have a glass top, just a hole in the middle of the table with space in front to hold the keyboard etc. I think your idea is great although the hole might make it easier for using the usb port etc. It also allows for raising and lowering...maybe. I wonder why we don't see commercial tables. Thanks for your input
