Thank you. Here is another taken at the same time. That little lens has been nick named the pocket rocket by it's fans. It's screw drive focus but works very well. It small enough that that that you could drop it in your front pocket. Notice the spider webs it's carrying back to it's nest.

I see that and it’s tongue is locked and loaded!

Nikon D500
Nikon 300mm f4

I also added a couple more shots I took at same hour that I liked.
I built this pond to photograph the wildlife.

I think you do not understand me, gas is buying to buy because you want it, I love my cameras because they give me the options to increase the beauty of my art, I hate buying new stuff it is such a hassle though as my skills build so do so my needs. If you use the gear extensively how is that your so called gas??

Great point for some of us, like the concept of the "weakest link". Sure, my pictures might be better with a FF or MF camera, but a 24MP DX serves me very well for learning new skills like PP software and where best to have prints made, things I did not carry with me from film. When I am happy enough with my PP skills, computer setup, etc. I will likely upgrade to a camera with the potential for greater IQ. A Fujifilm MF is certainly on the list of candidates, if not the D850, Z6, or similar FF.

I have a Nikon d500 and love it love it love it, it is a nice change when I get tired of the critical d850 which I also love, but I still want a medium format.

Anyone buying this camera already has other cameras and most likely many,
So the limitations this camera may have is a non issue!
