Nice! And interesting. A few requests: when you post a photo, if you hit "Store Original" it will save a larger version which we can download and enjoy and see more closely. Also - I really enjoy knowing what part of the country or world you are in or that the photo was taken in. We have quite a few members in the UK and Australia, and even one in Iran. Members are very knowledgeable at identifying unfamiliar plants and birds also, but always useful to know where something was photographed. Thanks for sharing this with us - I am sure the blooming is anxiously awaited every year!

Unusual plant. Is it a cactus? It makes an eye catching subject.
Yes, a cactus, also called stag horn. Looks like dry sticks the rest of the year.
The tuber was an uprooted tuber I rescued when we moved on our property. It has rewarded us for 29 years with these beautiful flowers with seductive perfume. The sad part only one night out of the year.

It will be a long and sometimes rocky road back, but persist. You have a loving wife and family. Things will get better, but as said, they may have to switch meds several times to get just what you need. Tell the docs everything you feel physically and mentally, even something insignificant, which may actually be meaningful to the doctors. Hang tough and thank you for your service.
Nothing as appealing as a Rottie puppy and yours have grown into handsome dogs. Rotties are like potato chips, can't have just one. Love my girl, she's a big lover.

Met this french man on the beach in Brittany with a very athletic dog.
Awesome pictures. I agree the jumper is a Malanois. The harness may be used for Schutzhund training, military or police work. The Belgian Malanois is known for police work.
My wife and I go up to the Ruby Valley in SW Montana every summer to fly fish and chase birds. Occasionally we see Bald Eagles, but never have we seen them while they still have chicks in the nests, so this was a treat for us. Considering the adults are still tending to their chicks, they tend to hang around and therefore better opportunities to photograph them.
Excellent pictures of the eagles in flight and the young ones in the nests.
Beautiful pictures. Missed that when we went to Glacier NP. Good excuse to go back. Thank you for sharing.
