Luminar Neo is now my go to editor but I still use Affinity Photo to fine tune my images. Luminar is easy to learn and gives me great results with little time and effort.

My solar investment has been a very positive. We purchased the system outright and my energy provider buys energy back so we now have a $220 AUD credit after the last three months. We also have an AIRBNB gallery apartment using electricity of the same tariff.

To do accurate editing you need to keep your room light level and colour temperature stable. I use a very diffused 5000K fluorescent tube. My walls are painted grey and the window are blocked out when editing.

From your shooting angle hold CPL in front of your face and rotate the filter to see it's effect. If you like what it does screw it onto your lens.

Iv'e never been a fan of Sigma because their lenses were so big and heavy. Last week I purchased a 17mm f/4 Contemporary Lens for my Sony A7R111. Sigma has created an excellent wide angle lens for landscape photography.
It's compact, lightweight, and delivers exceptional performance.

While fully acknowledging that the effects of diffraction can be visible (or can be made visible), my position remains that if 99+% of photographers would like to make better photographs, diffraction is way, way, way down the list of things that should be considered and improved.

Don't worry about it...be happy!

IMO diffraction is overblown as an issue. If you test lenses you will always see that F5.6-8 always looks better than F16-22 but in real world images there are a lot more factors to consider. Photography has always been a balance of compromisers.

My modified 1957 Linhof Technika. I made some great images with this 4x5 camera and I have it on display in our gallery apartment.

I dropped Capture One as soon as I got better raw conversion from Luminar Neo.

A larger sensor size will always perform better but it's really about personal use. These days most people have better cameras than they need and I lot of us would probably be better off with a smaller lighter system.
