Thanks for the great shots. Did you try the gorilla in b&w?

Yes, he is the King. It appears that he has a large spur on his right leg. Nice shot. Is this another from TN?

I am well pleased with the D90. I do not have any serious problems after 2 years. My skill level does not press the outer limits of the camera. I am sure the D 5100 would do equally well with lens of equal quality.
