Nice shots ... I was there a little under 2 years ago ... loved it. It amazed me so many of those old houses & forts are all still standing after all these years. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Frank.

Various pictures of the Dingle Bay area off the Ring of Kerry. Note the sheep grazing in the ones looking out to the Atlantic.

The location was extremely windy. Most of us had a hard time just standing still. The lighter ones in group had a hard time not getting blown over.

An old farm in Ireland where they do demonstrations of herding dogs. Several of the buildings are original to the farm.

Nice ones... is there any part of Ireland that is not green? I'm taking a wild guess, you must be Irish.

Thanks, Chad.

Yes, Ireland is very green. No, I am not Irish; more likely Welsh. We just spent ten days there last July.

Not as impressive as the Norwegian fjords but nice. It's near Kylemore Abbey.

This small church/chapel was built to honor the wife of the owner/builder who died early in life.

(A few rooms there...)

Thanks, Longshadow.

This is just the main building. There are several out buildings as well as a dormitory once it was converted to an abbey.
