For me....taking a picture was one step..the dark room was where magic came in to place. Todays digital world I do feel that I have lost some of my artistic talent.

I have a D7100 and 3 of my lenses are Tamrons. Very happy with all of them.

I have another Tamron but it isn't the same quality. This is more of a prime lense. Its a big lense. 450g (15.9 oz)

I was at the local camera shop and was looking at this lense for my D7200. The build quality is spot on. This lense has a great feel, super quiet . This picture has not been edited. I wasn't working on composition just playing with it.

iso 100 35mm (52mm in 35mm) f/2.8 1/1000

I had my D80 converted to IR when I upgraded. If you have any interest at all in IR photography, you might give lifepixel.com a call and consider having your D90 converted. Enjoy your D7200.

Great idea! I will check into that.. Thank you!

Finally got to shoot pics with my new Nikon D7200 last week. Lots of stuff to learn over my old D3300! Here's a pic I got with it. Does anyone know of a good tutorial online that shows how to use the D7200 with high speed sync?

I just picked one up last week. I upgraded from a D90. I really wasn't going to buy one till I shot a few pics with one. I was hooked. I put my Tamron SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD on it and what a difference. I took some action shots and the buffer in .jpg is really pretty good. I put the fastest cards I could find in it. I do really like the camera. I love my D90 and will still use it but the D7200 really is a nice camera. Congrats on your purchase!

Congrats on your new toy. Have fun!!

Thank you! I know the camera won't make me a better photographer but it has some really nice features. I also like the "hand feel" of the camera. I have big hands so some cameras feel small and toyish.

Congratulations on the new camera, nice capture for the first shot. Jeff

Thanks!!! It really is a nice camera. I will set her up on a tripod and shoot some pics with different lenses to see how she can do.

I'm sure it is. I really only only had one shot before the battery died. I should have waited for a full charge but what the heck. I had fun.
